yes we can play .mp4 files...use converters like TVC(Total video convertor) instead of the nokia's one..

i'm considering buying either this phone or one of son ericsson's walkman series, probably the w910i can anyone tell me wich of these has better audio quality. thank you

okay people listen up! i have had this phone for a week now(yes ive been blessed) and it is awesome but mines going back cos its got a dead pixel but never the less it is awesome. firstly i got the blue one which is very nice but a bit bland,the music is extremely clear and the camera well my last phone had a vga cam so this is like pimp my phone, the 3mpx doesn't look to clear when it is on but once the photo is taken its looks great better than most on the market. the themes are wicked and the music player has a few changeable backgrounds.

all in all i love this phone but...

THE BAD= it looks grimy cos of all the fingerprints in direct sunlight
- it attracts dust
- thumb pad takes a little to get used to
- the volume button on the side is hard to press.
-only one speaker

THE GOOD= very nice camera
-awesome music player and extremely loud
-looks very sleek
- 16million colour screen
-everything and fun games
-feels really good in your hand

its awesome =)

Its been stated in this forum already that the 5610 CAN take a micro sdhc card. Im currently using a 4GB card.

Hey can anyone tell me whether I can install Java based games or applications on this phone?? Because I've heard that as it has the s40 Operating System on board, one cannot install Java based applications on it.. :( .. is it true??

Too many people are trying to compare this phone to more dedicated camera phones. The 5610 is predominantly a MUSIC phone! The camera is very good, but if you're main criteria is a camera phone then its probably not for you.

The digital zoom is ok, but the autofocus never works as well in this setting, so better to take the picture and zoom in afterwards.

NewKid - I haven't tried an MP4 so not sure about that. It has no problem playing 3gp files. The stats say its capable of playing the following:
"3GPP (H.263), H.264/AVC, MPEG-4"

The phone can't open xls etc documents because it doesn't have a document viewer, and you can't install one as it's not a smart-phone.
