I really must say 5630XM is awesome......i upgraded my firmware to 12.020 and its completely hackable ...so no probs in installing apps...
People complaining about loudspeakers shud know that more or less all Nokia phones have average quality loudspeakers .... if u guys want gud loudspeakers then go for sony ericsson....
Music quality is really gud if u use a gud head phone......camera quality is average.......

Till now i'm njoyin my 5630...dint find any bugs or errors...

i have been using this fon for 1 month.this is attractive,has fast OS,very comfortable 2 use.it has problms like it gets heated up even we use it for 5min.Its camera doesnot give quality n clear picture all the tym.low loudspeaker n ring tone volume.
internet n Wifi works excellently.dificult 2 remove memory card.low camera quality.at tymes camera sucks.
OS is very fast n easy 2 use.

NOTE: there are some files on google where you can download the FW update files but i kinda reckon that maybe some malwares. i suggest you update via 3G or wifi for this or use the software update app from nokia.

but imho, the 5630xm is still good enough to be compared to dedicated music players. im using sennheisers on my mobiles so the audio quality is very good. mids really do depend with your earphones imho, i have a skullcandy TI and that one delivers clear acoutics other than my sennys which is more on bass.

but if you want the best of the best, you need to get the creative x-fi (best audio player out there) and a pair of UE triple fi pro (ultimate ears is the best darn monitors out there).

still, i dont see any reason why not to love the 5630xm..best mobile phone i've ever had.

i had this phone for about 3 days...i took some pics and put it in my pocket..when i pulled it out it showed colored vertical lines on screen. i removed the battery and turned it on once again, the phone vibrated but was unable to boot up and after a few seconds the same colored lines appeared and the phone got stuck..what should i do???

plz help guys...any sort of help would be really appreciated.

im planning to upgrade my firmware version into 012.020... my current firmware is 012.008 and it works perfectly fine... but i really want an upgrade... can anyone tell me whats the advantage of the latest firmware version 012.020 and whats its disadvantages... tnx...

Dear "sekundes @_@",

I thought this doubt of mine is also something that I ask from you...

I previously owed Nokia 5220 Xpress Music and then I came to use this... and I'm not going to complain about fonts anymore because I've tired of hearing I can't change it... But each time I see text messages in 5220 I feel horrible about my new phone because I really love the text style and fonts in 5220... an It has smileys too... Whatever...

My current doubt is about Music Quality... (remember I'm a music killer and I feel it deeply... Please don't underestimate that...)

Using the same song, same volume level, same headphone & default equalizer settings... (I'm not using Nokia original headset and it sucks... Everybody knows Nokia can not produce high quality headsets...!)

The result was as follows.

1) Unbelievably overall music quality is with 5220 not with 5630...!
2) Loudness of the sound is also with 5220 (5220 volume level 5 is approximately similar to 5630 volume level 6)
3) 5630 sound is bit noisy than 5220 while 5220 has more crystal clear sound
4) Trebles of both phones are more or less similar
5) Bass level 5630 wins by miles... (It has incredible bass improvement... Specially with hyper bass option it's perfect)
6) Stereo widening sucks in both phones..
7) Most important matter comes last.. The mid range frequencies of 5630 is really really weak... While 5220 plays mid range frequencies way better...

I checked about results using few different songs with three different headsets and I'm quiet sure about my observations...

***** Remember I only compared my 5220 with my 5630... According to what I feel 5220 is better... but it doesn't say 5630 music is bad... It has an incredible music quality if you compare the sound with any other phone... (For an example most of E series or N series phone...)

Can you please check and tell me whether you have felt the same observations or it's just my phone only... (May be this thing is with my particular 5630 only... May be I better try another 5630... Do you think so...?)

Somebody told me this lack of music quality is because symbian OS itself... Can it be true...?
If it is... I'm really going to hate symbian because rather than the benefits we obtain, the things we loose seem to be high...!

Oops Nokia... What are you doing...?
Just have some music people in your laboratories just to check your music phones...

i've owned this phone for 2 months now and basically i love it..its an awesome phone good features good looks has a fast OS and couldn't ask for anything more. Music quality is superb.

The only down side is the home sync capability. I still haven't been able set it up. Have to get some assistance off google!

music of course is superlative.. as long as you use a decent pair of earphones you'd be well, just dont ask me though about the loudspeakers coz they are utter crap. camera is decent as well ^_^

other than that, this phone has everything you will ever need. there's no reason why not to get this phone.
