I have bought this phone in Nov-2007. This is really best phone in feature and music.
but after year.. I installed one Text reader application from Nokia Labs, but after that problem starts
When i twist the phone for camera it doesnt start and when I twist again then keypad stop working even twisting many times. the last option is restart the phone.
And the new problem is it shows Insert Simcard, no of times event after trying new SIM. please share some solution to my email wazdesigs [at] gmail
thanks , overall experience is fine.. want to sell this phone

Well dis phone is da best fone nokai ever made unfortunatley its production stopped,it rocks to da core,dam nice phone,well sound quality is awesome,man wht speed it got HIGLY RECOMMENDED PHONE!!!! 200/100

Anyway remember that an smartphone (N97) will always be on another level vs a feature phone (W995)on functionality. But if you care about camera too you should consider N86 as well, it has good speakers but not as great as N97 or W995.
Isn't ironic?? In my country an N86 8mp is cheaper than a W995.

Im using this for last 2 yearz..its the best handset i ever used but now its the time for a change...only thing i want to know is, i want a list of handsets which have better and louder speakers than this phone...please experts i want ur feedbaks..nokia N97 or se W995 ??? Which 1 is better to replace the sound quality of this...reply asap..thanxx in advance..=) =)

If you want a real music phone, then this phone will beat any xpress series phone or any so called music mobile in this world.
It has stereo speakers that blasts, bass effect rocks and sound quality is excellent.
look no further

what a phone, cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 + pretty fast even faster than n70 and n72, best phone ever made, the king of nokia xpress music phones!!!!!!!!!! oh and better than n73 music edition too, the sony ericsson walkman is not better than this cool thing, all i think is when a new model of this design and shape will come again with metal body and 1GHz cpu 1 gb RAM and 512 Mb rom an 3d accelerator +gps and most importantly the wifi and i have heard from gsm arena that ngage is gone too bad, than what about a 2.8 inch touchscreen + qwerty keyboard etc........

it's been 2 years, i've used this phone...
two months ago i've decided to change this phone with 5730 xm... and gave my old 5700 to my mom
but 2 weeks ago... my mom got lost it T.T
so longgg and farewell my 5700 xm, it has been a great handset for me for the last 2 years :) haha

i have had this phone since 2007it was snatched from me just recently.. i thought i'd never have to buy another phone again, because i never had any major problems with it and i like it and love this model
in red colour WOW.....

once i switch on the music player it does not switch off. untill i have to swith off the whole phone, the shit thing eats up my battery. how do i close the music player, no close option in it???????

I have nokia 5700 .maybe world smartest phone . If u wanna loudspeekar sound more than n73 . So use coreplayer with equalizer trable boost and see change
