Latest official is 6.85.14.1 as you said, but the unofficial latest is 6.86.9, the one I have...:)
I've just use my irRemote cr@cked version, in a Sony Showroom.....had a lot of fun!!

Same here buddy with real player. try using emtube if u want to watch utube videos on phone but on edge I am not able to download big files anyways.

It is surprising. When my 5700 discharge completely and I charge it:
Screen automatically Flashes showing charging bar changing but phone does not start.
When screen goes down again I start 5700 by pressing the top button, screen flashes & phone starts smoothly.
Nothing happens to me like u describe.

My PC Suite version is 6.85.14.1. and its latest I assume but I still verify this.

hi aditya i am alos using win Xp sp-2 nd i am facing no problem to convert my mp3 files to m4a. wat v of pc suite u r using pls upgrade ur pc suite if possible

Is it possible to play you tube videos on this phone using real player?
Every time I select a video to play on the phone real player pops up, it says connecting then the great disappointment, "unable to connect" Do I have the wrong streaming settings or something. Please Help!!!

hey this is is a great phone but u know wen it started to lowbat if u try to charge it using the charger that is provided the phone flashes a white lite after a while the phone dont function anymore... i send for 4 times in a repair shop so that it will be repaired they did was to re install rhat versin 4.21 i gues iots the latest i think.. then wen my phone turned lowbat again it did it again and again and again... w2ats wrong wid this phone nokia shud improve this celphone for the fifth time it turned like that i didnt bother to send it again in the repair shop.. cos its wortless takin it to the repair shop cos everytime it goes l;owbat it does the same thing... did anyone experience trhis or is it just i?????????????

Anybody using Nokia Music Manager to convert files from MP3 to AAC or M4A with success.
Every time I tried this. Nokia music Manager closed with out any message.
I am trying this on Dell Optiflex GX620 with windows XP SP2.

twisting mechanism is very stable, no problem found in 4 months.
I did not possess walkmen phone so can not comment/compare directly but if you are looking for some mega bass or loudness than this is not for you. I have used my home theater system with this phone & this phone produces simply great sound. bottom line is sound quality is excellent from phone but rest depends upon which headset/external speaker u r using. HS44 are fine if not great.
Mobile is really fast comparing to previous symbian phones & yes u can shoot photo without twisting but ur camera will be pointing at side obviously.

GPS you saw is an app which needs a external GPS receiver & is trying to connect that via bluetooth.
Can’t access phone memory via USB - I never felt the need for same yet.
Scrolling through music player with joystick freezes constantly - Not True(checked with 3.27 & 3.83)
No gallery slideshow - can achieve third party apps
Unattractive flashing of the screen when certain apps. are selected. - Not Found
Not compatible with all apps. -
It is compatible, provided that the app you are trying to install is for 3rd edition & not needs ngage or accelarator.
Camera in low light is inadequate. Completly agree.
& Browser connection fails constantly {or is it just me} - definately not a problm, may be a provider issue.

i want to know about how the twisting part works...
does the music when heared through hs 44 is better than se walkman series....
is te mobile fast enough in all applications and during normal work...
can we take photos without twisting the lower part....
