Lucky me!
Don't have any problems with it. The tendency with some 5700 users is that they just install and install applications without even thinking. Thus, affecting their phones.
Why complicate life?
I'll just have to wait til N78 comes out. Had the recently announced 5320 got auto focus, then that'll be my pick. My 5700's gonna reach 1 year! How about the rest? Still problematic? Hehehe

Anybody please let me know how to update to v4.21?? Also please share if there are still any bugs in it bcoz v3.83.1 that I am using is still a bit unstable.

I'm so disapointed of the service that Nokia care center gave me. I had my phone for a week and I expected that there finally the software upgrade could be done. But which was my surprise today when I got my phone back?? The same v3.27. I saw it and I just grrrrrrr!!! I can't believe that in Mexico isn't the v4.21 or v3.83 available!! Or maybe in another city but the next Nokia center is 400km away. So I'll need to wait a little more when Nokia Software updater gets the last version for my Nokia 5700 RM-302.
At least they replaced the headphones and adapter for free and I'm not having troubles with my phone, but I simply want the last version :(

When you turn off or on, it will check for the certificate......now the difference:
when off everything certificate will work ok, but if on, then the phone will check whether the certificate is approved by Nokia, or something like that......are you understanding?.....^_^

You told this to me previously, but I think If i set App. Installer setting to off. It is not going to check the certificate any how. Can you explain what exactly you mean by this.

ATTENTION ALL S60 V3 phone user!!
virus has been created 4 this OS...if u have application name wif 2 extention,(example; JUCEBOX.EXE.sisx) DO NOT INSTALL IT!!
IT was known as FAKEVIRUSes..it work like this..
when u install it, the virus acses 2 system C...
then it will overwrite ur startup program to some things that made ur phone will blank or shutdown when u reboot it..
but the good news is this FAKEVIRUS doznt have A.I...so if u can detect virus an delete it, that was the only one!!

I've had the LCG jukebox too. I had the v2.17 but I needed to uninstall it because even if it was cracked my phone was freezing all the time and it always was giving me problems that music player. When I was lplaying music my 5700's screen turned in color blue with a leyend: application error, uuninstall ad re install it again or contact yyour software provider. So I was forced to uninstall that great music player. Is your LCG jukebox running right??

This phone is great! I have it for about 6 months now and I'm still happy with it. Excellent music, useful twisting keypad, crispy screen and it's really fast! Camera's not the best, but it's pretty good for a cell phone. I recommend it everyone who wants a smart, feature-packed phone, especially for music. Oh and for the secondary camera - the phone's keypad can be twisted so the camera lens is facing you(the lens is located on the spine of the keypad) - it's quite nice to have a 2 megapixel frontal camera instead of VGA!

Welcome here dude!!.....ya, actually m4a files ARE the eAAC+ files...
About those rumours I dont think they are true.....besides, what else can you search for when you have symbian? D:D....lolzz

1st vertical= set max
2nd vertical= set at stat 9
3rd vertical= set at stat 6
4th n 5th =set at max
this setting will produce same emision of voice n guitar...
it good 4 lead guitar n rock songs..
it also clear the 'hidden' optional sounds like bass, keyboard and mix sound..

doz nokia pc suite (i mean the latest one) provide eAAc+ converter in it nokia music manager??
then a rumor that i heard that there have softwares that can divide the memory card like partition magic..it divide drive E (memory card) into F,G,H,I...and it also enable the user install other OS like mac, iphone and other..do u ever heard of it??
or u have the software??..thanks

I do have M4A files but never faced an issue like yours. refresh to music library works smoothly.
Yesterday I was trying to install agile messenger with certificate settings to "Must be passed" and it fails. later when i set this to "off" app. install successfully. Any clues, why so?

I have 1 problem with this phone in camera.
when i twist for camera mode it takes about 3or4 minutes to display image that to be capture. can any1 have this problem? my firm ware is 3.27!
please tell me solution!

That's not true, mobile review stated that because the model that they were reviewing had the first firmware release available for the 5700. But today every 5700 has at least the V3.27 or the more stable 3.83 and 4.21.
Those versions definitely improves the sound quality and give a better sound experience than 3250.
I told you that because a friend has a 3250 and I have a 5700. He took my phone and played some music and he get amazed in every way. Overall this phone is much better than 3250, he is considering to upgrade from 3250 to 5700. ABout the build quality and joystick, there aren't any issues, I have not seen any post in this site complaining about both cases and so far my phone is still great like 3 months ago when I purchased it.
