hey did any one have d same problem as me? i had my 5700 from the first month i bought it,it works fine but this poblem came when i am playing music then the phone went lowbat when i try to recharge it lits up but after a few minutes the light turn off ad it semed that the phone is not charging i try turning it on but it only lite a white light and after several tries of turing it on the white light is gone already and nothing happened i send for it for fixation then it turned okay then that same day dat i took the phone from the repair station the phone again was lowbat then i tried to charge it aGAIN THEN
the same thing happened... what do u think is the problem? or does anyone encountered the same problem? what did you do and what do u advice me? thanks... im waiting for anybodys reply hping to revive my phone back cos if i send it back to d repair station my parents will probably blame me or buying 5700 instead of n73 well i pick 5700 cos of its design and because it belonged to the xpressmusic family.... pls help tnx any help can do.....

Have you upgraded your phone's firmware, do you found the music bed comparatively with older version 3.83.

You'll simply have to change the date of your phone some months back, install the app & reset it.

Dani, don't be like that. I know you're expressing your opinion, but I think it's a bit overboard already.
I spent time deciding which phone to buy: Nokia 5700 or SE W610. Considering every strength and weakness of each, the 5700 was the winner for me. I still liked 5700 more after having been able to use W610 for weeks. But you won't see any post from me bashing SE at any SE page within this site 'coz I also like the company and most importantly, it is my way of showing respect to SE people.

I admit SE has good sound quality....but some samsung and Motorolas have even better sound quality.....still, Nokia is the global market leader......and please, when we are discussing about a specific Nokia phone here, don't post things like SE's sound quality is better, it spoils the mood.....and btw, have you ever heard 5700's speaker sound?......

just buy a SE WALKMAN Phone and see for yourself...
SE WALKMAN Phones are at a Totally New Level when it comes to MUSIC PLAYBACK !!!!!!!!
just buy one and see.

Guys..Guys...Nokia 5700 latest firmware is avaliable! Version 04.21 avaliable for updates using NSU (nokia software updater) and well..a usual mini usb or nokia's cable...

Hi,
I just bought this phone last saturday. It's a really cool phone..except for the flash. I searched all over the internet for apps and theme..most of the themes installed correctly, but most of the apps i downloaded were trials or the 'certificate expired' message was shown.So, can someone be kind enough and tell me where to download some free and full version applications for the 5700? Also is this phone s60 3.4 or 9.2?

i think i hav a solution for your ngage goto www.imserba.com/forum and in aplications for series 60v3 u can find ngage game layer and its games also u can gtry it i hav n gage file but i dont know how to run games in it by the way games are of trial and boring also

This phone is a really nice phone..
It's pretty fast.. has a nice CPU and everything.. also has one of the best designs out there at the momment where the bottom part of the phone twists around which is really sexy and anyone who sees it is going to be surprised and want to have a look at it.
The Camera isn't as great, but it's 2 mp and some of the features for it are alright. It can get pretty loud if you want it to too like with it's dual steroes and all. The joystick in the middle is sort of annoying sometimes, but it isn't too much of a problem..
The only thing that I didn't like about this phone was that it doesn't support n-gage.. was surprised because it's a recent phone and it should easily be able to run games like that, but it doesn't so that sort of sucks.. and also.. it isn't THAT much of an upgrade from the one before it.. the 3250 or something.. forgot what is was called, but it's got the same design..
overall.. it's a really nice phone and I don't regret getting it.

zup guyz! i have this fone now for almost a year and i dont experience any problem except for its fast draining battery! it consumes a lot really! can anyone tell me where to DL cool games for 5700? i also nia a torch! BTw, Im from PhiliPPines! thanks guyz! 5700 rulez!
