Even if the keys aren't working anymore you'll be able to use the adaptor to connect your standard headphones. The keys aren't working because the adaptor has a battery which is needed for the music keys. But the 3.5mm will work fine even if the battery is phased out. My adaptor's battery gave up 6 months ago so my adaptor keys aren't working but I'm still able to use the 3.5mm jack with no problems. You can change the battery but the screw is hard to reach because is under the adaptor's clip.

To those who have 5700 v5.11,have you encountered any problem in creating a play list in the music player? Because i having a hard time even the recent addition play list disappeared.

hey i got back my nokia 5700. i stole it from the guy i sold it too. muhahahaha. but the joystick broke off.
anyways, if ur thinking of buying this phone, dont. its a good phone and i like it but go for the 5710. the joystick is gonna kill ur thumb trust me. my fingers are still killing me. thats y am geting the 5800 which does no hurt ur fingers.
man technology is moving fast like lighting.
just a few years ago well all had nokia 1100's then razr's now we going for bigger and better things.

*It never Hangs
*Has a gud VIDEO,SOUND & PICTURE quality.
*Only the problem it has is...shud have had a 3.5mm jack.. :-(
Otherwise Its a boon for every cell phone owner..

where can i find this phone here in the philippines?, grabe,, hirap makahanap ng brandnew na ganito, if ever sana ma-release na ung 5710 o 5730. BTW mas mura pa pala ung 5230 kea dto.. bt kya?

Hai Yall, i'm new here...I got some problem wit my Nokia 5700..It seem some of the part of the phone are hard to find(the board in the twisting mec.), my phone is in deep water and i want it to get fix A.S.A.P...could someone plz tell me where i can some secondhand part 4 tis phone.....i really like tis phone n i don't want to lose it

One of the biggest flaws of this phone is it lacks a 3.5 mm jack... I know its provided with an adaptor, but do u know the nokia warranty policy:
1 year for handset
6 months for batter
3 months for headset (thts the adaptor)
1 month for data cable
Its 6 months since i hav bought this phone, everythigns great but my adapter keys aren't working anymore nd its no more under warranty.... dunno when the sound output will be cut off...
