herez how u enable it
access the camera through the menu, NOT through twisting
set the flash to always on
then take a picture with the joystick, then as soon as the flash goes out, immediately twist the phone 90 degrees opposite u
the flash should be on then
it stays on until u exit from camera application
u can use this flash to shoot videos too

Yes thr is a way to Use it as TorchLight......
Im not sure abt the Video Torch tough.....
It can RUN evn with 8GB card.....
Tested OK....
Myself Im using 2gb card...
They say its running without any prob in 8GB card too..



Hey Krishna... I'm also using this mobile from 30th July 2008.... Its magnificent phone..... Plz dnt twist the mobile vry often.... AS its the big flaw in his SET... It leads to so many probs such as U said.... Try not to twist it AT ALL if U can.... I had the similar prob once.... Aftr tht im careful with it... I twist it may be weekly once.... thts it... Njoy.....

can you use the flash as a torch?
can you also use the flash for video recoding?
what is the largest capacity of the mem. stick that the phone can recognize?

it is agood pfone i am using it from aug 08. but i am facing a problem with this mobile.when i twist it its keypad stops working untill i restart the mobile

mine works fine and i've had since august 08, the twist still works great even though it has fallen a lot of time. you should check to be sure itz a gud one u got in d 1st place.

Just Got Nokia 5320 and just can't live with the fact that it has better sound quality , battery , latest Symbian and of course that 3.5 mm jack than my Fav 5700 wich is my primary phone.......m using v5.11 but just can't think just what was d reason behind Nokia leaving dat 3.5mm jack and providing 2.5mm ?? at least music quality and overall the phone's usability as a standalone music player wud hve been much better.......anyways still luv my 5700.....its cool n fast n stable....though i prefer another firmware upgrade to add sme fizz to it as its hardware specs still show dat its capable of much more.......

Can somebody help me in my unit which has 4G memory card?it always hanged up and i think this card was corrupted bcoz it always failed to scan my files but wenever i turnd it on again, it goes back ok.but the other pix wer already gone..help me please

Hey Dude that your twist problem is a hardware problem i had it in my to fones get it repaired and sell it it will cause again because nody can fix strip like the company did
i used over 55 nokia fones and about 20 se fone truly saying in se only k500,w810,k750 were legendery but now they are creating same fones no changes same menu but only camera upgardes the only new in k850 is 3 touch tabs but nokia's symbian upgrading every time use nokia n90 then n73 then 5700 and then n78 then u will see nokia rocks wid its fones you have a multimedia computer in your pocket and sony e only supports mobile web pages they arent bad higher hdfone quality but they cant compete nokia just compare n91 headphones with all of se phones

hey guys, i just want to know wheater it is a software failure or hardware failure on my 5700.
i bought 1.5years already.
but now my camera twisting had a problem.
i cant twist it towards but when i twist to music player it become camera..help help...i love 5700 but it is not available in Malaysia. plz email me if u guys know how to encounter this prob
