waweee dis fone gna be da bomb i was gna buy n73me till i saw dis babeee definetly better. big whop on 2 mpixel camera want good cam buy a digital 1.i hope its released soon im waiting. said no on the n73 on the last minute. still waiting nokia RELASE ITTTT!!! NOW

I can guarantee that this phone will have awufull materials and the joystick will jam from dust as Nokia hasn't got enough experience with this kind of input.
I liked Nokia very much until about 3 years ago when they decided to skip for cheaper materials and ugly design (i mean c'mon RED / WHITE)while the competition released better and better products (thumbs up SE). Also i'm not so thrilled about Symbian since on a portable device the OS is way too slow. Lot of functions yes, but way way too slow... and full of jams. Every time i've used a symbian powered terminal i got frustrated with response time.
With this phone Nokia will dig it's own hole as the price will be very high and the functionality will be mediocre:camera and music capabilities.
Nokia u need some time out for training.

good goin nokia i wanted 2 buy 5300 but i left it coz no symbian........... but nokia understood ppls choice n' r goin 2 release 5700

I dont know why Nokia persist in using Symbian on their phones. All the others i.e. the N Series have had massive problems, and no doubt this handset will be no better! Get an operating system that works Nokia instead of releasing faulty rubbish

I have some concerns regarding this phone:
1. Judging from the pictures the phone has a joystick (correct me if i'm wrong) and i doubt it'll last for long since SE has this problem. I didn't own a 3250 so i can't tell whether nokia has strong joysticks (again i need your opinions)
2. The 3250's camera wasn't that brilliant but i hope nokia already improved that
3. Last but not least i'm concerned about the battery since numbers don't impress me very much.

Good phone with symbian OS and including ram,rom & cpu.
It really doesn't matter from which place u are u gotta love this phone.Don't go for the outlooks beacause inside it's full of features.
Apple is just a crying baby compare to nokia in the field of mobile manufecturing.Who says that iphone will not hang or will not crush down.Who says there OS is much faster then the symbian,it can be slow too.Let it come out in the market we will see what happenes.
And to papa,wat did u sayd nokia dose not have good user interface.Have u ever used a nokia before?It really does not matter what u say because i think u know nothing about any mobile fone.
One more thing do us a favour do not post your comment here,which are based on imagination.

you know why SE has good talktime becoz SE phones has useless features so people dont have any other except music and camera on the other hand Nokia are full of features so we spend lots of time using this feature so batteries drains out so then we blame Nokia for poor talktime And who says SE dont hangs my dear uncles SE Hangs too and i am not joking Nokia recover when it hangs but SE Hardly recovers just use SE very heavily you will just throw it into dustbin when you buy SE Phone you have to take care because they are not designed to use heavily I am using Nokia 6233 and i use this phone heavily but this phone have not given any problem as people mentioned i will definately replace my 6233 with 5700 becoz Nokia rocks

(1) I think you(papa) are too old that's why you are worried about slow operation and dont like slow phone because your remaining age is getting over day by day
(2) when we were drinking milk there was no such technology like 3G,GPRS digital camera etc so do you really know what does it means
(3) NOKIA is manufacturing since SE was not born
(4) what the hell is cheap phone NOKIA phones are very strong SE phone cannot resist even a smaller impact some NOKIA phones are strong enough to break your head
(5) This phone has faster CPU Twice faster thas SE + New SYMBIAN OS there will be no slow navigation i dont care about battery
(6) This phone has new features unlike SE new phone with age old features + reduces feature with every new phone
(7) this phone will crush down SE walkman and samsung,lgand moto crap
(8) SYMBIAN can perfom many operation than SE walkman crap

OMG i can't believe the comments on this forum, how do you people know that it is a good phone or not, IT HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED YET. Nokia at the moment are a joke, they are going from bad to worse 6280 didn't work, n70 even worse, n73 more problems just to name a few, it's time they released a handset that is reliable or rename themselves lg

guys u CANT compare nokia to any other phones?!?!?! LG-rubbish samsung-big rubbish SE-maaaybe. Nokia is the best if u don't like it don't waste any space in the forum.The phone is cheap an affordable(surprisingly)Its just great all the features are the best on the market except maybe the camera witch cud b just a bit better.But overall its THE BEST!

We the axis zone we are impressed on this one but the camera is only 2mp.the good thing it has a processer,ram,with 16million colours.the chairman of axis zone in united states of america(new york)

i don't care if it has symbian os 'cause it's a music phone all i care about the looks and sound quality and the player i admit that the 5700 has a bigger screen maybe better camera but it's ugly and with cheap metrials and for the connectivty the 5700 has an extra EDGE no big deal and ha the symbian os means: slower phone lots and lots of bugs and jams and not much of user freindly so don't get mad that's my opinion at least

I really want a slider music phone, but I'm really tempted to get this one instead. It has way more beautiful screen than SE's just announced W580, and only 3mm thicker. It has Symbian OS and 3G. Not being a slider is the only con to me...>.

hi there!
i'm currently using 6270. it's been great. i'm quite impressed with its' camera function (above basic, if i may say) and truly admired with the music player. and i'm also thinking of switching to a new phone since i've been using it for almost a year. i'm thinking of getting n73 me (all because of its 3.2 mp camera, 3g and inbox 2gb mini sd). but until i saw 5700, i was stunned! i mean, this is the right phone made for me! it has the stuff that i'm looking for in a musicphone (a2dp!). the design is cool and it has a standard 3.5 mm audio jack (perfect for my bose headset!). i don't mind the camera (at least, it's still 2 mp) or whatever people would say about the twisting mechanism.
now that the 5700 came out, i decided to be more patient until it hits the market soon. this baby will rock loud and heavy!

Do you know anthing about phones?
The W880i is more functional? In what capacity?
First of all its triband, the 5700 is quadband.
Where else should i go? Screen resolution, screen size, connectivity options, video resolution? The 5700 runs the symbian OS, while the w880i doesn't.
How do u rate phones dude?
