For something in this price range that gives you wifi, qwerty, audio jack, T9 keypad, GPS and short-cuts music buttons all in one. Despite the plastic feeling, this phone gives you one good deal for the specification and functionality.
Compare this to N75 specification, it's totally the same but functions a little different which cost quite a little more expensive for a more durable casing. We are not bring mobile phones to war! Just pay for something cheap and use it for a few season then get another 1...durable is for Grannies~

Just got this and lovin it.
5730 trumps touchscreens like 5800 with its qwerty and screen. U see, even when the screen is smaller than 5800 or iphone, you can actually view FULLSCREEN for wifi etc, without the need to compensate that space for keyboard.
D-pad is very useful to move your cursor, so don't worry.

> In reply to lols @ 2009-12-06 01:32 from uCmm - click to readSome 5800 users found 5730 better. 5730 is a better phone for me, too. If you're up for a larger (and touch) screen and faster processor, go for 5800. Over all, I think 5730 is better. I had 5800 before but exchanged it for 5730. It works well.

anybody please share about its speed 369mhz processor? I doubt 5730 could give good speed performance with that processor. Thanks.

Not Worth to buy. It lags and problems start to come out after a 1 week of usage! And the structure of the phone is not good. Dust will be able to go under the plastic cover of the screen. Making it above the LCD Screen. SUCKS THOU

about 2 or 3 weeks ago i got accidently drooped my 5730xm to the floor.... (the slide was not open at the time, and on the floor, the battery just seperated from the phone) i screamed "nnnooooooo...." T.T
but tell u what, the phone still working just fine, nothing is wrong, it's strong handset indeed.

> In reply to MyruL @ 2009-12-02 15:03 from ib7E - click to readOK,these are some weaknesses,,video can be a little bit watery looking sometimes if you push it with lots of detail and speed in shot like busy speedy road,,but,, it does cope well.. If you go to allaboutsymbian.com he films himself for a few seconds using the 5730 and its brilliant but as he moves it around it does dim about 10 percent when it hits sunlight but its 9/10 for video from me..As of now still playing around with it but cannot find a way to activate LED as torch but will try more at weekend..The back of fone is a bit plain and to me it could be one of a few nokias whilst held to the ear,,but,,their again you can jazz it up with stickers, swartchty crystals or i might look down markets for different covers..
At this point would like to thank the markets and all third party manufacturers for giving us options to enhance our fones..
I cant find much else its good in speed for the proccessor, good screen,,,keypad ,qwerty is tops and i would give the battery 1.5 days of medium use..Have no car so not tried GPS yet but the main reason i bought this fone is it does everything and looks cool so unlike lots of other fones you dont get bored of looking at it..I can see the reason people buy funky mobiles it so much better to look at..As ive said earlier i was going for e72 but its hard to find and got bugs and light leakage are being reported and e52/55 have fixed focus cams and some bugs..Its your money but i like buttons not touchscreen and its is symbian smartfone so may be weird if coming from another o/s ...
