Common misconceptions and hands on review :

1) The battery life is incredible. I have now had it on for 2 DAYS straight and its still on 80% and I have intermidently used 3G, Camera , GPS , WLAN & Bluetooth!

2) The phone can take "S60 V3" APPS & GAMES. If you wanna know more . GOOGLE IT! :D

3) It can read .TXT and .RTF documents natively

4) 369 MHz CPU ARM , 128MB RAM

5) Incredibley fast , flipping has no lag unless its caching, even then its almost instant.

6) The sound is OK , its not rediculously loud but its
loud enough to hear it in a crowd so long as the MP3 or SONG is loud too.. so its not JUST the phone, the MP3 can be quiet ALSO.

7) Say & Play will search in your MP3 list. Music search software can be downloaded FREE (google).

Need to know more , GOOGLE-GOOGLE-GOOGLE! lol.

There is a firmware update already for this phone. It 'seems' a little faster now. I have not been able to find any release notes regarding the firmware update though. It is update 101.48.128.

for me its perfect, music, wifi,nokia, but i still need this text thing for school :D exam cheat :D

From the looks of it, this phone is really cool to have... What I want to know is can it support apps such as utorrent since it has upnp characteristic and it has a cpu?

> In reply to yash @ 2009-11-06 04:10 from utVb - click to readThat is the reason, you flash your phone firmware with your country firmware (india) but the phone is from uae market. maybe there something different with the both firmware. you need to flash black your phone with the correct firmware (diy: search from net but risk if u newbie) or the simple one, take it to the nokia centre. i'm not having that problem because i'm buying phone for my country market.

ok just got the phone yesterday, today im sending it to the service centre. :< count me unlucky but when i slide the keyboard out to input a msg the screen will tilt to 1 side, however when i slide it back it just stay there. simply refuse to tilt back. i tried to refresh the software and restore factory setting but nothing change, got really disappointed with this phone.

when i read the specifications i saw that 5730 has got a battery life of 300h(2g). but when i read the one of its disadvatages was that it has poor battery life. in my opinion it is not a poor battery life.
is it???

i have had many many symbian nokias starting 3650 and using n86 at moment and htc touch pro..The trouble is after n95,n958gb n82,,n96 5800 and so on i have become bored and looking at e72 as next fone until i came across this fone in said below mag...I think i will give it a go..
