AlphaVirus, 07 Apr 2009The update is available based on the phone and the country you are in. I am in the US and my p... moreThx 4 the reply ... But is all the games work wiz the acceleromator or specific games work wiz that function ?!
E71 - stylish efficient business phone
Blackberry Curve 8900 - best e-mail phone (BB push email is still the best out there)
N85 - superb multimedia features, great vid camera, decent 5MP
Nokia 5800 - touch screen, excellent music player and video player
Xperia X1 - elegant all rounder phone, SE's crown jewel
iPhone - if the iPhone 3.0 update comes out, you'll think again, stylish and sexy phone
C905 - nothing exciting w/c makes it pretty much useless but at least you have an 8 MP with xenon flash to brag about
Samsung i8510 INNOV8 - bulky yet feature-filled, great overall
In my personal opinion, Nokia 5800 is the best. It might not have an 8 MP but its useful, fun (it never gets boring), affordable, battery, scratch-resistant. 9/10! Trully, an amazing phone!
A spectacular mobile giving a challenge to the iphone a phone with a great facilities and great look
This is the best mobile in my opinion
@AlphaVirus, did you try an external bluetooth keyboard?
Did you try tethering a laptop through bluetooth or through JoikuSpot? If you used JoikuSpot, how fast does that kill the battery? On my N82, I can almost watch the battery level falling as I use it; JoikuSpot is really only usable with AC power.
pls click and read this is no trolly..

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!
I just wanna say, if you like this phone and you're a potential buyer, don't let the negative comments found here desuade you, because most of the people with negative comments are trolling that is the tarnish the image of another brand, while praising theirs. Trolling is mostly common among apple, sonyericsson and sometimes samsung users, also known as fanboys.
Majority of this trollers have never had any experience whatsoever with the Nokia 5800 and yet the post negative comments of their experience with a phone they've never used. This is the kind of things you are likely to find on most blogs and website, so my advice is, if you like a device visit trusted and unbaised review sites like this site, www.mobile-review.com, www.phonearena.com and don't bother so much about user opinions or comments, cuz like i said earlier on, most commenters are trollers.

you all r gonna regret it..
... moreIt seems that you will regret now...
The post clearly says that the earpiece problem has been fixed now and the number of warranty claims were only 7%. May be by May it will increase to about 10%. That means only 10% of 5800 users have had a serious earpiece problem out of which 7% have been already solved. Cheers to nokia and 5800.
Also the sound of 5800 through headfones is better than any newest walkman fone. If you dont beleive me..check out the audio frequncy graph of 5800 by gsmarena. IT falls on the PERFECT track.
Also the bass pumps better than an ipod(believe me) just its not as loud as the ipod.
I found this interesting thing about Gravity for this phone, so you can see here under video clip!
ashiq swaleh, 07 Apr 2009hy guys i want to buy this phone bt i dnt know more information so i reqst to you friends of m... moreI would suggest browsing page between 2 and 4, I have left a detailed comment with Pros and Cons about the phone. I have owned the phone almost a full month now and probably used it more than most on here since I use it for both business and personal. Check out my mini review and hopefully you will notice how great the phone is.
Badar, 07 Apr 2009as mentioned by gsmarena the talktime is 8 hrs but my 5800 lasts maximum 1 hr only. my one is ... moreI would recommend purchasing a new battery, my phone lasts for 10 hours with heavy use of talk/IM/text/email.
When you purchase the new battery make sure you charge it for 8 hours before actually using it, if you begin using it without fully charging it you will reduce the life of the battery thus reducing your time on your phone.
alex, 07 Apr 2009can someone tell me is the screen skrach-resistant? Yes the screen is scratch resistant. I have no screen protector or case or anything, and I have 0 scratches. The phone may feel cheap to some but they can not argue that it is built tough and for rough use.
I saw a video on the web where they were abusing the phone to see how strong it was, they threw it in a washer and dryer, rolled over it with a car, etc. When they rolled over it with a car everything was fine except the LCD screen popped. The case and screen came out good.
Happy, 07 Apr 2009Very nice comment ... So plz i wanna ask about the New Software ... Can i upgrade it 4m Nokia ... moreThe update is available based on the phone and the country you are in. I am in the US and my phone came with the updated firmware, not sure why everyone does not have the newest firmware.
As far as apps, themes, games, etc, you should just google "Nokia 5800 themes" or "Nokia 5800 applications/software" several sites will pop up. You can download them to your computer and transfer to your computer, or if you have a good data package you can use the phones web browser. Using the computer is much quicker because you can navigate much quicker with a mouse.
