Guys i tried the phone today...
1. The touch screen is very responsive, no delays, messaging is super fast, just like u use a physical keypad.
2. The size is good, just 1 cm taller than the n81, a bit slimmer than the n81, and the width is a bit slimmer than the n81. plus its a light phone.
3. The operating system is fast.
4. Camera is good.
5. Music through the loud speaker is loud, but not louder than the n81 through headphones.
therock, 02 Dec 2008Iphone is the best you say...heck no. The only best thing the iphone has got to offer is the b... moreIf you ompair the N95 with IPHONE then you no nothing about phone. Tanz, 02 Dec 2008Awwwwwww!! i just bought this phone 3days back and nw i suppose it's da best phone i've evr us... morePlease, can you say to me what is the actual sound quality through headphone? Is it good enough more than or similar to n81?
wow so im assuming it is not gonna drop down to 279euro's like they say the launch price is gonna be? wow that is just retarded, it is a decent phone, but at that price range might as well go for the LG Renoir,Touch Pro/HD, or even an Xperia
guest, 02 Dec 2008then bye bye :))The price is going to b Less within few days as this mobile isn't that good as we were expecting the touch response is to slow but if u still wana buy it then
it is availavle on line at Sn traders
$586 With free shipping
now with the n97 released, the price should start declinning ruppidly after christmass to stop at around the 280 euros before march,, then the 5800 would be suitable for non-contract users, and the n97 for the ones who use big contracts ( 35 euros/month and above),,,
over priced phone.good fone having almost all the features, but price is very very high.Think twice before buying this one.if it comes around 275$ to 300$ then nothing like it.NOKIA .....are you hearing ?
this is too expensive. not value for money. nokia is expoliting ppl.....i gotta know that it was planned to be launched at a much cheaper price but when nokia saw the demand they gave it a heavier price tag. this is awful.... you thik we are fools nokia. i was well determined to buy it but seeing nokia`s cheap poliyics i`m goint to buy omnia tomorrow. shame on you nokia. damnnnn!!!!
still a 2 bob nokia in a farri shell get any thing other than this lol
This thing is ready to go now -the N97 looks truly awesome but I don't think we'll see it until mid-summer '09 (I know they've said Q2, but it'll be the back end of that if indeed it's not late). Then, most people will need to wait a month or two for the price to reach 'non-hype' levels.
So anyone that's waiting on N97, it's gonna be a long ride (and those of us who do get the 5800 will have a head start with the new touchscreen OS)!
P.S. -No FM transmitter...neither has the N97 (nor iPhone ;-)
