> In reply to ana @ 2009-06-25 15:39 from 3bmC - click to readI've been using this phone for quite a long time now and I'm happy to say that I have no problems with this at all. The screen is fantastic and provides good response. but have to admit that the accelerometer is not the best but its very good. can give 8.5 out of 10. and i'm sure that most of you have not noticed that this phone's screen has been provided with the resolution with proper scale of resolution which is 360 x 640 pixels while the iphone don't have its screen resolution under proper standards which is only 320 x 480 pixels. so its very clear that in terms of clarity of the screen this phone is in the lead.

as for the design an construction my personal opinion is that nokia could have used a bit more rich material but the ones they have used on this is perfectly acceptable because though it is made out of plastic, its not the cheap plastic.

the biggest downfall for this phone i see is the lack of 3rd party applications. other than that the firmware is good, doesn't lag or freeze in the middle of an operation. All in all I can happily say that i'm totally satisfied with this phone. also i should mention that the sound quality is brilliant. I'm sure all of those who bought this phone got an years supply of free music and if you download whatever you want through that I can guarantee that you will experience crystal clear music quality through the headset as well as the built in stereo speakers.

But if you want a compact internet and music mobile phone then this is great.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-25 14:23 from TkDN - click to readScreen is indeed poor. When trying to click on links while on the internet, I find myself pressing often two to four times on average. Great phone otherwise.

Also, if like me you have big hands/fingers, you might find the screen a little too small. You can scale it or use the stylus but it could be simpler just to have a bigger screen.

Folks, I just got my Nokia 5800 & its awesome.

The touchscreen has no issue's & responds perfectly, The sound is the best I have ever heard on a mobile.

Camera is decent, as is video recording

Access the web takes a wee bit getting used too but once you master the zoom & double screen tap zoom you will be laughing

battery life is not great if you're accessing the web all day & will probably need charged after a days use if this is the case.

Texting is easy either using the standard input method or qwerty

Application access, page changing when browsing is fast (alot faster than I imagined tbh)

I'm really happy with the handset so far & have only had a white screen when turning the phone on last night after charging which was fixed by turn off & on again.

These things happen & happen with computers dailly so no reason why mobiles don't suffer from software lag like everything else

Anyone wanting more in depth review contact me & I'll be happy to help

Cheers
