Can you change the colour of the font on the display on a Nikia 8020? (The colour that the time, date etc. appears in on the wallpaper)

.... Like most folks I've moved with the times and I now own a HTC Touch HD an excellent device for my job I'll always have my best memories in mobile usage with the 6020. If I did'nt have to be checking mail so frequently I would have it as my main device still. It is soooooo durable, very reliable and practical. I think phones like these continue to keep Nokia on the top of the mobile food chain. At the wnd of the day the average person jus wants a phone they could depend on to keep in contact

Can somebody help me as I am facing the following problem.
I am using 6020 for last 3 years without any trouble. However, recently I find that I am not able to hear my friends when they talk to me. When I checked, I found that the screen shows "Earphone" emblem on the 6020 screen. I never used earphone with this phone. I took it to the technician who made it all right. However, this problem again appeared. Can you tell me why this emblem automatically appears on the screen. Pls. tell me what I should do to avoid this problem. Thanks (R.Varma)

Does anyone know how to increase the text message memory on this phone? Mine can only take about 170 messages (inbox and outbox put together)

I m using it since last 4 years. its excellent fon, i have used it for almost 1600 hours without any probs. its main drawback is its memory which is just 3.5 MB. Rest is perfectly fine.

A very tough and good phone, I used it for more than 3 years and it showed no problems.

It fell hundreds of times (it fell two times from a 2m wall) and it is still great.

The problem is that the on-off button is not perfectly designed. An internal piece broke there and you can't turn the phone on or off unless you remove the cover.

A very sturdy unit. The only 2 drawbacks I have encountered: 1) It hangs on some web pages using Opera browser (must be kinda memory shortage problem), although it does occasionally, no system or whatsoever. 2) Google stopped gmail support for that phone... I know it's not phone's problem, it's likely due to extended functionality of java gmail client, that doesn't fit into that phone anymore :) I've been using 6020 for 4 years at least, 2 years with installed gmail without any mailing problems. It's so pity google has not released any lite version of gmail for the phones like this... So, I'm gonna get either 6303 or e63, can't decide whether I should trade WiFi and a little bigger landscape oriented QWERTY over convenience of the lightweight classic 6303 with better cam, steel casing and decent screen :)

Few questions :
I think we can use nokia 6020 in US but
1.Is it cheaper to carry my cell there and get a sim rather than to get a new one from US ?
2.Please name some sim cards which goes with this nokia 6020.
3. If possible give the call rates for various cards please.

Thanks

iv been using this phone for around 4 years now, n it has literally taken everything iv thrown at it..... all kinds of abuse it has taken,n infact i now take it for granted, n don't make a huge hue, n cry over it,if it falls down..... such is it's reliability... :) i'm now in d market for a replacement cos' my nokia6020 has gone off production, but one thing is sure.... i;ll still use it as my trusted backup phone!! :)
