Infrared is on left side of phone...on the other side are 2 buttons for + and - (tones,etc) and on the other is IR...

i still having this phone as a spare and still working fine. EXcept i changed the battery after 3 years using it.

I bought in in 2006, and it is still working fine till now. I've bought several other phones since then, and anytime they fail, i go back to my never-disappointing 6020. One of the best from Nokia.

Good phone with great features, however it is not as durable as some other phones I've had like the 1616 or Siemens A50.
