This thing is built like a brick-- tough and durable. All my friends ask me "why don't you get i-Phone?" I say, "can your i-Phone do this?" Then I drop it from 3 meters to the floor. They look eyes wide open, then shutup. I say, I will buy i-Phone when you drop it from 3 meters and it survives. :)

6030 is my fevorite handset it purchase since in 2006
within 2 years no one probleme give in my phone. it's more durable & stylish handset

i've had this mobile phone for 3 years and it's still working fine and battery still lasts for about 3 - 4 days and i've never changed it in 3 years... =] also i dropped it several times and it still works fine...i'm a bit crazy cos i painted it with purple glittery nail polish and it look so nice and girly now... i recommend this phone to all those who need simple and easy to use phone... the only disadvantage is that it has no cam and music but its still worth it cos its a great phone... =]

I bought this mobile in March 2006..
One year back, I bought SOny Ericsson K320 i...
6030 kept in switched off for more than one year...
Last month i last my Sony erricson mobile...
I just take the 6030 after one year...
Even though it is switched off for one year, the battery life sound great for about 3 to 4 days...
Excellent mobile...
I dropped many times...It keep on working...
Those who are interested in buying ordinary mobile without mp3,video,cam, can purchase this mobile...

i bought this phone on may 2006. it is very durable cell phone.it does give any problem till now.as we want featured cell phone such as camera,edge,wi-fi,slim.......etc then it should ignored.

i have this nokia 6030,it was working fine till now..but now sometimes the inbuilt earpiece fail to work and there is a display of image like "car" on the screenand i have to switch on the loudspeaker to carry on with the conversation.

I solved the problem with a cheap leather case from ebay, the kind the phone slip into with a velcro closure and a clear, thick plastic cover over the key pad and screen. The plastic give my thumb nail more traction.

I've had the phone on T-Mobile prepaid for over 2 years. I slip my SIM into it whenever I'm in the mood for a candy bar phone. I unlocked mine for a trip to Mexico, it picked up a signal in remote areas there using Telcel (Mexican provider). As others have said battery life is amazing, menu choices are a bit confusing but can be figured out. I like the "note pad" and it has one of the better texting formats I've used. When texting key response is quick and crisp.
I'm not pretentious, I like a phone that functions well but costs little. This phone fits those needs perfectly.

this phone has been the most durable phone i have ever had. battery last for a least three days with continuos use. kind of hard to hold with shoulder to ear hands free but otherwise a kick ass product.

i had this phone for 2 years. i hate it. the only good thing about it is its long battery life and fun applications. bad points are aplenty. it looks ugly, has no camera, bluetooth, music, internet, games. im so glad i got a walkman phone now, which is a million times better.

this is simply superb....... i just love it...... it has fallen in hot water and also from 1st and 2nd floors but still it's working fine...... it has good battery too, still it can stand for 3 days after going through lot of pain from me..... ;) i may seem a lil irresponsible, but it happens... ;) except for music and cam, this phone is superb.....!!!!! paisa vasool...!!! :)

This phone is queit great it had fallen in to water for atleast 2 minute but still it was in working condition ya really its batery is too great last fo 3 days...

Bought this phone in 2005. Great phone....looks are good, battery life very good. And quality too....this phone has taken a beating in the gym, sweat, dropped it countless times. Still works fine. If ur looking for just a phone with text messaging and some download abilty this is a good phone. True....if it had a cam it would be great. But i still love it anyway. If u want music ...i bought an MP3 player....for my pics i have a good camera. So...it is basic with good reception and good sound.
I still use it as my primary phone!!
