just bought this phone a week ago. one of the best i've ever used. appearance is pretty good. function is perfect. price is reasonable. a good value for money. connectivity to pc....? how can i connect it to my pc?

This phone is one of the best that I had so far! It has a very expensive look but it does not cost you so much. the battery life is superb just like the Nokia 3100.

Though I lacks of IR and POP port it's still a good phone if you do not like Camera Phones but loves to listen to the Radio instead!

Any comments about USB data cable? It seems that datakits´ site doesn´t work. Does anybody know a solution for connectivity? Please, how can I connect this to my PC?

hi everybody, im using this mobile for the past 1 week, it works fine, and almost every feature is good. esp, screen resolution is superb.., and affordable price too.. the only thing is lack of pc communication..

for setting gprs, I can't do it,because the web configuration setting menu is fixed. There no entry for modify. Many user, need this, because using IP address from the mobile operator often get slow,poor. therefore, changing IP addrss in setting gprs is have to, but n6030 is unavailable?
Please, anybody know how can I set it manually....

ok, I hope URLs are allowed, I found a shop in UK claiming that NOKIA doesn't have usb cable for this model, but thez supposedlz found a solution..

Hi,
Bought this last week. Will a mini USB cable work to connect to my PC? Nokia site says the port is not for users but for a technician to "flash" the phone. My comment is for the tech to keep his pants on and tell us where to get the frigging data cable. I have 600 contacts in my old nokia I am not manually entering into this phone. That Belkin cable link is DEAD btw. So any of you that know about a data cable please post a CLEAR instruction list on how, when, what to do.

Hi My namez Akki...I bot Nokia 6030 for Rs.5200/- on 15th Oct.'05...Man!dis fone is very sexy 2 luk @...It's ringtone n loudspeaker r as Loud as a Sony-Ericsson...I tried comparing da loudness of it's ringtones 2 a Nokia 3120,6610,6610i,7250,7250i...but believe me...dis fone is da best ! Try playing ringtones on a 3120,6610,6610i,7250,7250i...on Full Volume next 2 ur ear...u'll say "Loudness is ok"...but wen u play it on dis fone on Full Volume n keep it next 2 ur ear...u'll say "Whoa!Wot Hit Me !"...n if u see properly...dis fone's Call Recieving,Call Ending,n da 2 Soft Keys r of da same size as in a Nokia 6230,6230i...so they r very much reachable even in Total Darkness...Dat's all Folks...!Mail me if u have ne comments...c_n_d9@yahoo.co.in

Bought this phone on 31st october'05

This phone can only save 100 messages doesn't matter wherever u save..i think this is bad...it should have had shared memory like 6610/7250i.


I would like to appericiate this phone's radio its realy good.speaker works awsome.

phone shows 2.2mb memory, but i don't know how we can use and where, if anyone knows...let me know ... how can i increase message space?

another thing which i noticed is that you can't send messages to a list ... you have to find and choose again and again.

i bought it from india for 5200 bucks..

great value for money..

good for people who like to call not text.

battery life is good.bl-5c battery is good .



overall good fone ... value for money

but not better than 6610,6610i and 7250i.

Thankyou Jayson.i hope you would try your timer reset i want to say this is a vey cute set i have already used 6100,6230,3100,3120 1100 6670 and mush more but i find this one very affordable and simple when you will find it exact data cable then pls repply me.Thanks and have a nice day

thanks for telling me that....to be honest i have just bought the black set today .......and i havent't tried to find the data cable. whenever i''ll find it i'll let u know..i think just try that pc's digicam cable mite work..

Dear Jayson you asked how to clear 6030 life ti timer its easy you just go in call rejister menu and type 12345 and see.okay you will see life timer 0000.i have a question if u know any information about its data cable pls repply me must i hope you will.thanks and have a nice day.M.Asif Noor
