had this phone a wk and had a problem, whenever i turn the phone off and switch it on i have trouble getting a signal from my network. any of you guys had the same problem?

hey guys!
I m planning to buy 6085 becoz it contains almost all the features tht i want. the price is less too. But, i see many members have bad experience with this phone. (especially SW) Will it be a good decision to buy this as i dnt have money to change/repair the phone every few months?
please someone, who is using this for quite a long time, will get back to me?

did any one ever consider that maybe the reception has nothing to do with the phone but your company your sim is with duhhh!!!

to ringtone person: all ringtones ascend. being inaudible is probably a safety thing.

I've had this phone for a month and it just started giving my problems now..my phone shows i have full reception but then when i dial a number to make a call it will go for a few seconds then it will just cancle..my text messages dont send and if it does it takes at least 10 minutes for them to send. Everytime i talk to someone all i hear is myself echoeing and the person i am talking to can never hear me. I personally would not recommend it.

I just bought a nokia 6085 yesterday and i noticed whenever i change the options in the tones or profiles (adjust ring volume to loudest) the sound is either ascending or inaudible. How come?

I really like the phone, the only thing I would change would be turning them into G3 so rural people can use them. I am from the country and use this moblie at school I think it works in my home home but not further then that. I really like all the features. :)

I just bought this phone a week ago and it is just perfect.for its price you cannot expect a phone with more functions.it should probably cost more.i'd say ts a good buy

Bought this phone 3 days ago to replace a worn out 3220. This phone is great! same principal operating system as all other nokia's and a very easy switch with many more features and better navigation. Loads better than the 3220. Looks like a typical flip-phone, but with stereo-bluetooth and a built in-FM tuner and the ability to pack 2GB of music and pictures on a MicroSD card, I'd say this would be more typical than a ipod nano, wouldn't you say?

My goodness, I can't believe how negative everyone is about this phone! I can't afford a "state of the art" phone and am in love with my Nokia 6085. To me it's absolutely beautiful and a faithful companion. I've had NO problems with it.

Just bought phone today. Can't download my own music! Reception is poor. Documentation is very poor. Would not recommend this phone.
