i admit this phone is rather a lot like some samsung models but i'm glad nokia is streamlining the shape of it's phones. some of the earlier clamshell nokias were a bit too bulky for my taste. please roll out more slim n curvy flip phones but maintain the nokia traditionalstrenght n features.
my personal opinion? nokia is to phones what benz is to cars.

Nokia phones are really good brand of phones I want to Purchase one but I live in the caribbean and donot have any form of credit card Only by money Order.

Why!? Nokia has been great but why!? why are you copying samsungs phone!!? it's good to make clamshell phones but the design of samsung!!!
Samsung is really overtaking Nokia already ang Nokia is afraid of lossing the grip and now they are copying samsung designs!

i really like NOKIA phones, but sadly thier flip-up phones do not have great design. stick to ordinary phones NOKIA! Please!!!

Oh! A clamshell phone which is small and only weighs under 100 gram!
I like the style, but no BLUETOOTH is making me crying and be nervous like a pig..
I will choose Nokia 6260 instead the Nokia 6101 because it's much prettier!

my opinion is that NOKIA 6101 is one of the nicest mobile phone i've ever seen :it is small , it has all those features IT IS JUST PERFECT

This phone will be almost perfect if it had BLUETOOTH!. One of the most talk about aspects of this phone is the design. Handsdown this phone is by far the best clamshell Nokia had built in a while. I would personally pick this over the Nokia 6260 if it had the Bluetooth. In terms of merge between Samsung and Nokia, I would think Nokia will buy out Samsung, because Nokia by far had emerge and successful in terms of sales, durability, ingenuity, and reputation.

Well, how about nokia's software, motorola's built (plus LCD screen), samsung's sound, Sony_ericsson's camera? That will be one heck of a phone. then again, I'll still dream on about it happening.

Nokia is copying Samsung's nice design and Samsung is copying Nokia's nice features. We will probably end with the same phones from both companies. And maybe Samsung will buy Nokia ?

Heres a great idea, all phones work together in the end for the customers money!
They should have Samsung design MERGED together with a nokia spec.
HOW GREAT WILL PHONES BE THEN? Both companies will have lots of money.
(just like the xbox and ps2 work together secretly for the consumers needs)

Ron... I agree with u... they are going no where... and the new series of samsung phones are best amongh all i can see currently... BUT samsung needs to double work hard on their phone seriously... although i like they small, smooth, light handphones... but they simply need to catch up on their features to the global needs.. gosh~! Nokia needs to think twice whether they want to do clampshell or candy bar... they seems or not sure what designe they are doing...

This phone proves that nokia always have better features but lacking in design while samsung have great design but lacking in features! Finally, new Samsung phones no longer have an antenna while nokia is putting them back on. Nokia is obviuosly going the wrong direction with this phone!

Nice phone, but not a great spec.
People asking why Nokia is copying Motorola and Samsung... maybe because they make the best clampshell phones and they are competing with each other. At the moment i am a Samsung lover because their phones rule!
