im using this phone it's a great phone specially for internet but the battery back up of this phone is poor but over all it is great phone

Nokia Indian announced that they will make available Nokia 6110 in Indian market with price tag starting from Rs. 20869.
The 6110 comes with pre-installed maps of eight cities including Delhi and NCR, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. These maps include the locations and details of 75,000+ km of roads, 10,000+ restaurants and hotels, 10,000+ banks and ATMs, 5,000+ schools and colleges, 3,000+petrol pumps, 3,000+ places of worship, 2,000+ hospitals and medicine shops, 2,000+ car and auto service stations, and 1,000s of other places of interest.

For its time, it was a great phone. After some 4 years, it still is.

For everyday use, it is good.

I believe that the best place for a GPS unit is on your phone. You can use is while driving and yet it is available when out walking and you can always find your way back to wherever you are staying, even in a strange town, provided that you recorded the location on arrival.

For GPS turn-by-turn navigation it is one of the best phones made. However, it is disappointing that Nokia have no free navigation maps for this phone for India. I am actually running some other map on it and that system's guidance and voice is not as good as the phone's.

I was looking forward to the 6120, but it does not have 3G, let alone the WiFi I miss in the 6110.

So I will wait further before I will buy a new phone.

Sound quality (Music): very good on earphones, good on built-in speakers which are loud enough.

Camera: Quite good, only in good light.

Battery could have been better lasting, but stand-by time is adequate. During Navigation, charge in car (or else!); while walking, stop and use whenever in doubt, unless charge is full and you can get to destination in an hour. (A trick is to keep the main GPS off, but to keep the "GPS Data" running, which consumes much less battery while keeping the GPS locked on. Run GPS when needed, briefly.)

I am using the set about 3 more years... The sound and camera quality is too best. The features of internet and supporting application is very well.
The only problem is the size is large with high weight..
All over it is satisfied me abt last 3 years.... Thanks NOKIA.

Please intimate whether any NOKIA CARE centre in New Delhi area is able to repair this set ? Every NOKIA CARE gives the option of changing the Mother Board which is not available anywhere. Please confirm Shop, Source, price or feasibility of changing /cannibalisation from any other model which fits in 6110 navigator while retaining the outer appearance (even without navigating option)?

Ok this reminds me of my n73 though i feel the n73 is better i just don't think this phone is good enough.

Need longer battery life? Remove your BP 5M battery and Use BP 6MT battery.... It works!!!!

This phone is the most quality phone i ever seen.the design is very very bad.Sound quality is loud.but not loud as n73me or nokia 5800.it is as loud as n95 8gb,nokia 6233.But speakers are not that good.sounds are crackly.screen should be a little bigger.camera or video quality are super poor.A VERY VERY VERY BAD SET.Nokia's most bad performance ever.
