hi i just got the 6110 i bought from someone however the navigator does not have south africa maps on it and im in south africa i know u can buy it online but its was to expensive as its in euros and im in south africa please advise if anyone know how i can get it .much appreciated.

N96 was downgraded to dual Arm9 at low clock speed, i think Nokia did this to improve battery, since N95 and N95-2 lasted only a few hours. Its actually funny how bad N95 battery, i know of a gurl who have N95 and every time she visited the first thing she would do was borrow a charger, and she lived 5 minutes away haha. And i had similar problem with my N95-2, after 2 hours in the car i had to plug it in. N96 however, ok battery, even if its lower capacity, but slow yes... Still usable speed though

U dont have to use a fone dats exact same battery, as long as you can make some kind of contact its ok... Carefully check that its the same polarity (polarity is often swapped on Sony Ericzn, not sure if nokia also does this on some batteries)

Or use a desk charger for the battery if you can find one. Do not use jump wires to connect the Nokia charger directly to the battery poles.

hi, i've had the navigator for 6 months - it was a hand-me-down from my sister (she upgraded!). yesterday i let the battery run flat, like i always do, now it wont charge and it doesnt come on. i have tried 3 different charges and none of them work! Help! has the battery died - do i need to replace it? wat kind of shelf life does a battery have?

this fone is perfect i have mine for three years now.... but am looking forward to getting the all new nokia n8

on the other hand its camera quality is nt tht gud but it clear enuf to know whuz who

i think i know whats wrong with your fone... u need to change the flex cable of the slide. my 1st 6110 was the same: the buttons wouldnt work but when i had it changed it worked great. problem is the replacements available in the philippines are not of good quality... it broke down again after 2 weeks... but i bought a new 6110!!! its a really great phone...

do you know where i can get a good flex cable replacement?
