The politique of Nokia about this phones is simply: The apresentation of news phones, how the series E and the love Series, will be open the angry about this phones. 6111 is waiting to shhiping and the 6270 are in poposition to give the next step. November and December is teh moment for news Nokia. The Christmas is around the pockets and the phones Nokia will be a excellent gift.

The price of 6111 will be around €280 and will be realease in the first week of november. The 6270 will be in and's of november em your price around the €340.

Oh God... Im going crazy to find this mobile! it looks like they think it doesn t even exist here in Belgium!... ahhh! I want to know when it s coming out!... It s actually the first mobile I like among the new ones!

Don't know if i should buy this one or the samsung E350. I guess loading Mp3 and games in the phone is easier with the excellent Nokia PC Suite ?

Well Nokia Netherlands says they don't know when the release will be.They say Nokia Finland decides the release, so it depends on the Headquarters in Finland when the release will be!

the shippment of 6111 begin next friday for europe. So, first's november the shops begins the sels of phone

In Portugal he have anuncied to this mounth, but Nokia Portugal said that the 6111 will arrived on 1' November, but how the 1'November is a catolic day and the people not work, so the probability is the 2' november. I hope that is true, becose my wife's aniversary is 8' november and i want buy for give as that date

23 Mb shared memeory w/o memory card slot? Then just it limits the 1MP camera and AAC player! THe snap shot is just OK for capturing a few wallpapers and the AAC player is just for playing ringtones. Too bad in this way.

Note the available colors. gsmarena writes that is available in full black...but thats incorrect!

But in Europe we've to wait till coming December....

If it's being released in December I'm not waiting for it. I really really wanted this phone but I'm sick and tired of waiting for it. This is crazy. The date has been pushed back so many times. I need a phone dammit.

Anyone know of any other similar (in looks and features) out there? Prefably Nokia. I'm after a phone by the way. I own a camera and a laptop so I don't give a rats about the megapixel or storage ammout like those other people.

Why buy a phone to take a photo and do stuff like play songs? Buy gadgets for what they're made for. Then you'll always have the best quality. I'm happy to carry around my little 6.1 megapixel camera, iPod nano and phone. All quality items and tiny. Technology's not there yet - one day it'll be all in one but people expect quality in products that are all in one and they're not going to get it. Not yet. Stop complaining about the 6111, get another phone if this one's not good enough. I'm sure you can call people on it!

I've wanted this phone for a long time. It looks fab and it's different as I haven't had a slide phone before. Nokia IS the best people, easy to use and attractive. However, I am not very pleased that it has such a small memory, Nokia 6230 has more than that!
Lots of people have said that it would be out in Sep/Oct, but I can't find it. If anyone has information where I could get it sim-free in the UK, could they please e-mail me? (Because its my birthday 24th October) Thanks

The resolution is perfect for this size of phone. The memory is also good for the data it is designed to hold. Everything is so nicely designed!
