Unfortunetely very low resolution(128*160)
Atleast it should be at 176*208.Although low memory & no card slot is another problem!

My dealers here in The Netherlands says the Nokia 6111 is planned to be released in December 2005 and not on 1 November 2005.

Early Nov seems highly likely since most online stores have that as their predicted first shipping date. Additionally it's not unsual for Nokia for release te cheaper phones after the more expensive ones, for obvious reasons!

finally the phone of my dreams i had my eye on the sl55 ever since it has came but it was only for the design not for the features but THIS is amazing n6111 has everything I LOVE IT

The £599.99 will be the GSM stock price, not the proper price - plusonce the networks start selling it, it'll be less than £200. There is no way they could get anymore for it whilst the D500 is £170, and the K750i is £230. Come on Nokia, and get this phone released!! I'm sure they've lost many customers fed up with the shifting release dates

No the as mentioned on the Nokia website the n6111 costs apr. 270 EURO.
But the release date is uncertain right now.... :-(

Now my retailler says the N6111 wil be released in November/December 2005. Does anybody else got release dates that are confirmed by Nokia?

This phone is great for anyone who wants all the basics and more... I own the Samsung D500 and I hate it - writing SMS is so painful and the functionality is just too complicated. There's nothing like the Nokia functionality.

If you want to listen to Mp3 there are plenty of other Nokia phones with memory card. Mp3 in 6111 are mainly for ringtones.So 23 Mo of memory if plenty enough for ringtones,photos and videos. Great phone, probably my next phone. The smaller size the better for me.
