Sounds good enough for me. No offense, but if i was to shoot a good photo, I will be using my Sony DSC-W5. Price of this phone is more important to me. Weight is good. A true succesor to 8890, I think.

Yes, I too prefere Nokia phones, but the fact is that Siemens first presented slide mechanism with model SL-10, a long time before 7650. :)

I agree with everyone else. This phone does not look like Samsung phones. The only thing they have in common is the slide-up design, which was Nokia's idea.

Who ever said that NOKIA copied thwe Samsung design is not very clever because if you know anything about fones, you would know that NOKIA started the now famous "SLIDE-UP" fones with the 7650 which was released before anyone had ever heard of samsung!!!!!

I cannot wait for this phone! What i love about nokia is how user friendly, fast paced text messaging the phones are. i currently have the 3220 and i am amazed of versatile this phone is.I've had, motorola, samsung, sony ericsson, panasonic. NOKIA is still byfar the most reliable phone! Thanks guys

What a junk phone. Yes, nothing like a Samsung at all. For a new phone, the screen on this seems a little primitive, the new Samsung having 4 times the resolution. Well Nokia has been doing this for many years now, using substandard old (aka cheap) technology in their phones so they can make a huge profit. Good business model and returns for shareholders, but crap product. Good on you Nokia!

i just dont understand how you people make such hideously ignorant comments as "the design is copied from samsung" !!! jeeez people dont u think for one bit??? there are bar phones, clamshell, flip and slider phone designs... and there's a limit to how these designs can vary from one another! unless you expect phone desings that look like bananas or pine apples...!
and just for the record to all you oblivious souls, nokia was the company tht came out with all these different desings ages before other companies copied them...so you've gotten that wrong too.
And not to forget nokia is also a company that has produced phones with desings very much different to the standard conservative ones...unlike for example Samsung that pump out phone after phone with the same flip or slider design...
