Nokia 6120 classic - user opinions and reviews

Nokia

this message is for every one haing my kind of problems with their 6120.
Frist the set was not being recognised by my pc. After lots of efforts i found the USB cable faulty. So plz check ur cable before u use it.
Secondly blue tooth was also not working with the pc suite. Again after lots of efforts it was found out by me that the pc suite did not support the software of my blue tooth device so i had to download a new version and now its working.
Thirdly my set use to hang when it was unlocked after some time. I re set the phone by hard reset that is by pressing call key with star key and 3 key at same time while u press the on button. The set reboot and it is working fine.
But still i think my set is having virus problems because when i open the web browser it starts with some wierd alphabetics written on it so any one with his experience may plz help me and secondly if somebody can give me address os free anti virus for 6120.

Is it's navigation key (d-pad) comfortable? I mean I have used the same kind of d-pad (I think) in nokia 2626, and it's not comfortable at all. Is nokia 6120c's d-pad comfortable enough? It can be mentioned, I have long finger.

I have this phone and I am very satisfied with it. Knows a lot of things and it is very reliable. What I don't like is the battery life. I am using it to run different applications and it runs very fast. For that one with the lag when playing movies I have to remind you that it is a phone not a MP4 player. If you want quality and much more buy a dedicated mp4 player and you are going to be much more satisfied.
All the best for NOKIA and the users of gsmarena.

5 months of used & my phone's navi pad is starting to peel its chrome!! @__@ WTF!!
well.. at least this turns all white when fully peeled. unlike the E51's navi pad it'll turn rusty. ;P haha
Jerky Nokia! use durable coating please!! > 0 <
what's the use boasting your designs in the market without finishing it off with a durable coating especially putting chrome stuff on it. -x-

The worst mobile i've ever had. The screen went crazy after 2 months from nothing and when i took it to the shop where i bought it, they said that i had to pay them to fix it while i had another 22 months guarantee!!!

I traded my bulky P990i for this N6120. It was great, didnt regret it. The phone is fast, really fast. The only problem I encounter is the playing of MP4 video files. The player seems to lag and could not play the file smoothly, unlike when I played it on my P990i before. Despite its poor video player capability, its an overall excellent phone.

The mobile shape is is superb. but its battery life is poor. I think Nokia should make a powerful battery for this mobile then it may become the most saleable mobile!
