Hi guys i need urgent INFORMATION!!!
i lost my nokia 5700 and plan to buy this one now....plz compare it with 5700...I need to know if it has:-
-Louder Sound
-Clearer Sound
-Hangs or any other problems
-Music Player is better or not

This phone is a complete smart phone, the only thing that lacks is AutoFocus with the Camera, at night don't expect to have a good pic even tough it has a flash. Also the Wifi is missing with that it'll be perfect phone to buy for a reseanable price.
It's a good choice if you plan not to use the handsfree because it has problem with the mic, the sensitivity is high that you'll hear noise when you move the cable when you're at a call or when you speak loud the distortion it'll be present at your hands free. If that is not a problem for you, then it'll be a good choice to consider on your next possible mobile.

Yes, there are better phones for music and photos.
N95, N95 8GB, N82, N73, and 6500 slide are better for PHOTOS (since they have at least 3.2 MP camera and above)
N91 8GB, N81 8GB, 5700, 5610, and 5310 are better for MUSIC

i am also having a hard time to choose between 6300 and 6120. 6300 apparently has 2 main advantages: it's cheaper and thinner. it amazes me how much stuff can be into a 11mm-thick little gadget; pretty nice to store in your pocket. 3g would be really fun, but i'm not sure i'd use it often.
Carlos, why do you say there are better cell phones for music and photos? can you give me some options? :)

we wil wait for new firmware to come out.. thers a bug in internet connection but it will be fix..
in music i rip to to aac format 96kbps and i hav 2gb of memory.. its ok no lag very fast but if push next song thers a lag.. it will be fix in new firmware...
about v3x .. 6120 has good camera output..

CarloS, Strathfield has the 6300 for $199 at the moment or they also have the 6120, you should give them a ring and they can help you more

2 problems with 6120:
- even though I 've bought it for 3G+ it works only with edge (after almost 1Mb with 3g it stops the internet connection), previous I used n73 and I was very pleased;
- I haven't bought a memory card and I have dificulties in downloading sounds ... even I have deleted almost all the information he is showing that is available only 2 mb of memory. It doesn't allow me to delete any "virtual" folders.
any help?

I bought nokia 6120 classic and i am very statisfied with it
the picture is better during day than night that and its sound is good and have many features

6300 - no 3g, 7.5mb internal memory.
6120 - has 3g/3.5g, 35mb internal memory.
Both good and affordable phones, I needed 3g so I bought 6120. If you love to take pictures or listen to music, other phones are better.

@ivan....the fon doesn't unzip files but u can download the zip manager from mobile9.com. I did that n now can open zipped files without a problem.

This is a great phone for its price. Sounds from loadspeaker is also good. And it has a better feature than other phone at the same price with 2Mega pixel camera. My fiance bought this model last week and it work good so far. It just that we can't transfer messages from her previous nokia cel to this phone through nokia suit as readable file. But other model like 6110i and 7260, messages are transferable to its inbox and archieve, and the phone can still read it.

this phone is great.for this price there is no better phone that this smartphone.but i cant understan some things...in specification here on gsm arena and on nokia.com says that this phone has zip opener...but some friend of mine send me a zip app and i tryed to open but there was a message this kind of file is not suported.how is that possible?PLEASE if some one knows please to tell me what should i do,becouse i wanna retrun this phone for a factory mestake.plz write here or on my email.please.thank you

It flips into full screen for photo, video viewing and browsing if you want. MP4 quality is v good.
