hi christian! i gather ur from the Phil as well. just wanna ask if it is true that the unit heats up when ur on a fone call for 10mins? would u also know which speakers are louder - 6300 or 6120c? thanks in advance

to those who have problem about internet connection using this unit (6120c) with SMART sim card...just type GET MENU and send to 9888, choose SIM Connect for 3g activation...i have this problem b4... then i went to SMART wireless center and its was resolved.
my evaluation about this unit...
advantage
+ slim
+ very bright screen
+ sound is good
+ very fast
disadvantage
- battery last only for 2 days (usage: listen to radio, mp3, watch video)
- unable to use the camera indoors and at night pictures taken are crap
( n70 camera is better )

at first look this looks good
but the battery it sucks, the radiation too high, man the keypad is not that good, and also the camera not so clean it have noises

Nokia 6120 is a great phone for teenagers like me... it has everything we need including a great cam&video, internet, even mp3,mp4.... it's great to buy this phone..

thats right bro, 6120 battery life isnt good but maybe better than ur old 6280.
Just go for n73me, but if u r one of sms lover, please dont choose n73me or some of n-series, coz the keypad just make u wanna kill yourself (if u a sms lover of course).
SE K610 have better battery & keypad.
But the best battery life & the best keypad must be on nokia e51, and e51 have decent camera & sound (not the best of course).
But there is no front video call camera like k610/6280/6120.
No perfect fone thou

6180 better at dimension, fast respone & popular os s60v3.
Just choose what more suit ur personality.

the battery life on the 6120 Classic isn't great, but it IS a good phone. (see the comments below), i can't comment about SE phones, though, as i only use Nokia handsets.
don't mean to sway you from SE, but you could consider Nokia 5700, or N73 Music Edition and N71, these models are good if you listen to lots of songs/music. N73 ME and N71 have one of the best sounds in the N series.
give them a try. :)

Hye, i'm about to buy nokia 6120 classic phone. I'm wondering for the battery life... is dis phone got good batery life? Bcoz i'm tired to charge my 6120 phone... it juz can stand for less than 12hours only. I usually use phone for messaging,play mp3 n photo taking. Is this phone compatible for me? Or should i buy K618i? Huhu... can anyone gimme an advise...?

hey 1sexybeast,
greetings to u! i've not had any problems with the joystick before. one thing with the N73 that i don't like is the keypad, like someone who wrote about pressing the wrong key when sending SMS, yes, i've had that same problem. my N73ME is less than a year old, and i recently upgraded the firmware. i'm quite happy with it and would recomment this phone to anyone.
as for the 6120 and 6300, i think they both have the same quality sound & loudness. still, the 6120 is a good phone. i'll get it if i'm looking for a phone but don't want to get an N-series price.
you can give the 6120 a try at your local retailer and find our for yourself if its right for you. :)

Hi andrew. wow uv got both fones. sweet.. good 4 u. haha. anyways, just wanna add up to ur comparison between N73 and 6120. I think one thing that u wouldn't like abt N73 would be the joystick. eventually, it would fail to respond to ur commands. that's one reason why i dont buy fones that have a joystick navi-key. btw, how's the quality of the sound of 6120? is it as loud as 6300? if 6300's and 6120's speakers has the same loudness, that's already fine with me. i'll consider buying this fone. thanks! cheers.

i've had n73 too, personally i think 6120 is
better, exept the battery life.
i've had this 6120 for 2 weeks now and have had no problem what so ever!
irt's the 3 software that is giving all the problems.
my 6120 is on t-mobile and i'm pleasantly surprised with this one.
music player on headphone feels much better than n73!

music please... upgrade firmware to music edition pls....... nokia pls update the formware to give more sound .. adjust the sound quality and also the volume of the phone including the music.. i hav this phone.. the main problem for me is the sound.. pls nokia update the firmware with music edition!! haha..
