hmm,..

how about the battery life???

how can i prolong it even just abit??

a while ago, i have initially charge it 5 hours,..

but know, it indicated that it only have 3 bar(battery),..

is 6120's battery life really short???

I have just purchased "my unique Nokia 6120 classic" 10 days ago. It so amazing that I could send unlimited photos & text messages without delay. My problem with "my special friends" located in other parts of Middle East to have picture/s were solved! Outright, I could see them! "I never regret to have this unit!" It so handy! More Power!

i just bought my 6120 ysterday,..
does it really have a problem with its battery? and during receiving/making a call??.

how can i remove the sound of the camera while i'm capturing an image??.


please, i need an urgent reply to my post.

brilliant phone..
1 of d best frm nokia certainly..
n d best thing abt dis genius is dat itz got evrythin AND it actualy fitz in2 ur pants pockets quite perfctly..
d camz ordinary 4 a 2mp..
but itz featurez r simply awesom..
d back however gets scratchd quite easily..but it cn b copd up wid som gud care..
music is gud..plus itz memoryz xpandabl up2 2gb..now datz GOOD!..
itz got good display howevr small the screen is..and it can idealy match the n series (as 4 dat mater..ne smartfone) in every dept..

maybe you should consider changing to 3g sim. there are 3g units that needs 3g compatible sim. try to ask smart because i replaced my sim with 3g sim from smart for P300.00. however, i'm currently having a postpaid plan, i dont know if they have the same with prepaid.

i having no problem about the battery so far....

regular charging is 1.5 hrs...

battery last for about 2-3 days,
i'm use this unit to listen radio & mp3, watch video, play the installed games, using the camera, etc.

still having problem with internet connection using this phone...
- i have a SMART prepaid sim (off course, with credit load)
- i go to Settings -> Connections -> Packet Data...and there's 3 menus (Packet data connection, Access point, high speed packet access)...n there's no...pop menu, or sort of asking passcode to access the settings
- the phone have 3g signal indicator
- i set the 3g by txting to 211
- i go to website of SMART and follow the instructions about 3g, still having problem..
- i have nt use this phone to connect to internet by using PC
- anyway, thanks for the help!

i will go to Smart wireless center for assistance, again thanks!

I've just bought it since 2 months and I complain too from it's battery at long calls it becomes hot that I can't stand it in my ears

yea!I just bought my 6120 and it's a very cool phone with lots and lots of features and very cheap!however the biggest issue is still the battery, it really poor in quality and talktime.

Hi guys, I have bought this phone 6 days ago. But now I have a problem. Sometime the phone normal, but sometime when somebody call it doesnt ring at all n if I keep pick up it, I cann't hear any voice n if i want it back to normal, I should restart it..pls tell me what should i do. (i already upgrade the newest software at nokia - ndonesia), thx....

Well, i have yet to experience the so called short battery life of 6120. my unit lasts about 6 days for light use and 3 days for moderate use.. I just followed the instructions..
initial charging: 5 hrs
succeeding charging time: 1.5 hrs (disconnect the phone at once when attery is full

==if your battery is dead, just let your phone rest for 5 minutes before charging it and turning it on.

==set your rightness to 40%
=disable the screensaver

Actually in the Packet Data issue it should read (cannot verify 100%) because there's no such thing as a packet data setting.

As for the Packed Data error, go into Settings -> Connections -> Packet Data.

If this is your first time, it will usually ask for a passcode for access to settings.

Now in my case, my service provider provides a generic 1234 pass code for all settings downloaded from them. The Packet Data settings is actually the same with your normal say 3G data settings (I can verify 100%). Enter the same pass code as the one for applying normal data settings and you have unlocked Packet Data access.

Thereafter you should have a toruble free data connection.

me too, my phone shows packet data something..i checked the internet settings and it's configured to my network operator. I registered my moile phone number over at globe north edsa for the settings and i haven't received any. I don't know why i can't use the browser..

To no name:

I bought mine at comcentre sta lucia last month. price was 13200 with 1 yr nokia warranty. Their units are also NTC registered. Some of the shops which are part of the gray market are selling 6120s at about 10000 pesos. Warranty is in-house and also for only a few months.
