1) how to turn off the camera sound?
2) is there any software to install the smiley?
3) is there any way i can save pix as a screen saver instead of the animated one?
any help would be deeply appreciated thanx
guys, don't but this phone not that I work against Nokia. The heating problem is too obvious and this is not the batt area. I am too concerned with safety level for SAR when heat builds up. I send my phone back to Nokia Care Centre and they replace most part and back with the same problem. When further questioning Nokia for the fault and safety concern, they just ask you again to send it in. This has gone on for weeks till I sold my beloved 6120c (due to slim design and S60). Now I have a 6500 slide with good build quality and slight heating but more around the batt area which is command if any phone today would use a high capacity batt. But the speaker and screen area is much better than the 6120 where it heats up just couple of mins into call. Dangerous man. I would rather be safe than sorry not for a few hundred bucks. Just my thought.
oh man this is such a beauty, with awesome features, and is really cheap, man can't wait to get my hands on this! like n70 but much more better looking, i was gonna get the n70 before i saw this! :)
This is for All 6120c users
Does this mobiles casing change
Furthermore, nokia success and popularity is based on reliability and attractiveness. RELIABILITY
I have not said that 6233 is better, just expressed a personal choice and opinion. Nevertheless, 6120 is a very good phone. I think you did not get the message - it is all about personality and choices
Ive had the mobile for around one week and find the unit excessively overheating.I purchased it after my N73 which was only twelve weeks old proved unreliable by continually switching off and would more often not connect to the bluetooth. After speaking both with the Nokia repair centre and Nokia's call centre in Kuala Lumpur, neither could provide me a satisfactory answer as to why the 6120 was overheating or whether it impacted on radiation levels . There was a time when I thought Nokia manufactured good reliable products!!!
mind i ask if this cellphone works with USA's 3g network?
I believe america's 3g works under 900/1700, is that correct?
If if right, then the answer is no.
Am i answering to myself? lol. sorry.
thanks for the info.
i'll wait probably until the price goes down to below 10k.
can the casing be changed (xpress on)? anybody? just checking. still thinking what to purchase a white or black version. thanks in advance.

its nothing like 6233 that phone is a brick big dopey buttons like you have on a old calculator lol, 6120 is small powerfull downloaded loads of sofware its so fast size is good sound is good to, mine does not heat up and i have two 6120 classic phones both work great and batt, life is ok to ,this phone does not lag its fast cant fault this phone at all so dont know where you say 6120 is like 6233 its nothing like it at all so stop fibbing 6233 was ok but size of a brick so go back to sleep lol
Design - It is a very attractive phone overall considering its elegant profile, sleek dimensions, and slight incline towards conservatism. The only drawback here is the back of the phone made of shiny plastic, which I guarantee to be 100 % fingerprint magnet. Ergonomics of the keyboard could be a bit better too, but nothing really to worry about.
Features - Packed with features, very fast responsiveness and excellent display and connectivity. Great package in slim outfit. One thing worries me a lot however, that is the weak battery, it is good to have all these candy features, but isn't it annoying when you have to recharge in a day when using them. Talktime is declared approx. 3 hrs, with 3G enabled, battery will let you down for sure. There are a lot of concerns about heating, in reality the phone does not get hot, but warm after a long call.
A decision about a phone is personal choice, depending on your needs and wants. I went for the old model 6233, because I like the ergonomics, the more solid feel, slightly better battery, good speakers and loudness - these are the features I need. 6233 does not have the symbian and many other features found in 6120, but these are the most important to me. It is up to the consumer to decide - I know people who are ready to charge every night but have a sleek metal phone, and others who want sturdy phone and good battery and do not even need color display. There are business users and multimedia lovers....too many choices and really there is no perfect phone...companies just do not have interest to manufacture the perfect phone
hi guys......sorry to say that its still photography really sucks ahhhhhhhhhh....... i have heard that it has a good camera even though u cant compare its result with nokia 6233( i am talking about still pictures) but the video is awsome no doubt!
one thing else..if some 1 from u experieanced is that it gets slow while sending or receiving text messages even delivory reports.......on the other hand its a good phone......... and battery life is really wonderful u can easily compare it with good battery life phone like N73 and 6233........so enjoy..
Kindly Tell Me Any One That Nokia 6120 Classic Is Java Application Supportted or Not.
Let me 1st answer your question; I got mine in Park square 1 glorieta for only php12,200. It does have a FM radio! Now let me share some thoughts...Don't worry about the heating problem i've used this phone for a call that lasted 20 minutes. I can assure that the ones being sold in Park square1 does not have this problem. I also want to add that the speakers are loud and clear. It's a good, fast phone. The only draw back I guess is the camera. If you want to compare how the picture looks on the phone, it's the same as the 6280 (I don't know if that's good or bad to you). Lastly, if ever you get one and you feel that the battery cover is kinda loose after a few times of opening it, I solved mine by putting a piece of folded paper in between the cover and battery. Anyway, hope this helped!
does this model have fm radio? the nokia website doesnt say so i would just like to confirm this. thanks. also around how much in the phil per last mall price i checked around 14.4k mega exchange...
