its just that the 6121 has more advanced technology and ca search the web, send emails, and do many other things, much faster
also,
they have a different software, makeing it easy to do stuff, and alowing you to do more

So Nokia upgraded the battery and put the new battery in the 6121's.

The difference between 6120 classic and 6121 classic is that 6120 has gprs class 11 which gives u a speed of 48 kbps whereas 6121 classic has gprs class 32 which gives u a speed of 107 kbps. Same is the case with edge. One has edge class 10 and the other class 32 so technicaly speaking. 6121 will perform better while using internet or using the phone as a modem in places where there r only gprs or edge signals available.
