I was in a Nokia shop (UK) last Friday and they said the 6131 would be out on May 8th. The guy also said it would probably be on Vodafone only at first, but he seemed a bit gormless (he confirmed the release date with a colleague, but not the network availability)
Anybody know if it's possible to get a phone on T-Mobile with the handset being T-Mobile-branded?

nice fone, don't think it will be that cheap though, more like €320 instead of €275...
I went for W800i because of the multimedia features. The 6131 lacks those a it and the camera seems mediocre. But design is sweet and I am curious about the 16m display!

The phone is featured in the May edition of the Carphone Warehouse brochure and according to the staff it is expected to be available this month.

This Cell Phone is definately gonna be a bestseller.It combines almost everything and its price is low(275 Euro).Some complain about the absence of flash but remember that first of all it is a cell phone for those who appreciate elegance,satisfactioning technical characteristics and low price.

Apparently, the human eye can't see much more 250k colours, so not sure what the point of 16m is... apart from draining the battery.

6131 is equipped with Bluetooth v2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate, 3 times faster than V1.2 theoretically). Bluetooth chip used in 6131 is BlueCore4 manufactured by CSR--Cambridge Silicon Radio.
Anyway, 6131's support site finally appears. It means that the phone is now in mass production and is expected to be available somewhere soon.
