Or, transfer music to another phone. And send it by bluetooth.
Or, if your PC has bluetooth, use it to send it to the phone.

Is it just me that I am going deaf or is this telephone ringer extremely low in volume??? It may have "everything", i.e. relatively good mp3 sound quality, 1.3 mpx camera and blah blah blah but whenever I am in the street and somebody calls me, I never hear the phone ringing!!! I don't wanna sound like my dad but what's the point of having such a sophisticated or whatever phone if you never get the call!!!

i wud just like to know can u use a USB cable to transfer musik from PC to the Nokia 6131???

One of the best clamshell phones in the world , it has everything , even the 1.3 mp cam works fine in the sunlight , elegent , sexy , makes you feel handsome , dont treat it like it's an 2009 phone coz it's NOT , what a wonderful keypad , so big and easy to txt , hey , Micheal Scofield was using it in Prison Break season 4 , lol

During the call, on the bottom left hand side there is an options menu. On that menu choose the record option. But while ypu are recording, there is a beep every few seconds.

Started to use the phone again and it is creaking of old age. Edge is slow. free internal memory is inadequate. Committed the old computer sin and downloaded new software on old hardware.
To be specific updated my mobile google maps for the latest version. It struggles to run and freezes with low memory messages. I hoped to get streetview. The phone tries to load the images and gives up.
6131 needs Hsdpa rather than edge.
A faster processor.
Ten times as much internal memory.
The screen is still excellent my modern standards.
And the new 6131 would be a winner !

Bought this phone two and a half years ago from t-mobile on PAYG. Battery life excellent, don,t understand what people are complaining about. recently it has started to switch off and on again all on its own. probably due to age and over use.
The mobile internet using t-mobiles web and walk was fine, despite only having only edge, no 3G or HSPDA.
Functionality of the supplied browser was limited. Could not use it to download files photos etc.
I deduced that they were using a cut down version of the opera mini browser, and used it to download an updated version and got the full mini opera 3.3, with the ability to download all the files and photos I wanted !

I had this phone for more than 2 years. Its wonderful , good display clarity, good sound, good handle size, good internet using. Only problem is camera , its only 1.3mp.

i have had this phone for almost 3 years. It's a great phone except for the poor camera/video recorder, and the rubber on the covers peel off. The mp3 player is also too simple and you can't filter songs... One main problem though, my email and calculator applications just dissappeared. Any help???

i am using this phone 4 months now. i had a problem recently because i dropt it and the opening mechanism broke but i fixed it and now works great. it's a great phone and i'm not going to change it

this phone is a great deal from nokia!
i have had this phone for more than 2 years,and the only thing i could that the key pad cover start to move from its orginal place,and i had to put it back,every once in a while! other than that,its been in many accedint,fall on ground,water,etc..and all what i do,just restart it and it goes back to normal!so it can get any better than that,i would say who ever got a doubt about this phone,stop thinking and go for it!
