I have had this phone for 2 years. it has endured being dropped in a trash full of water and a few other water incidents, but it still works great! i just turned it off immediately and let it completely dry for a few days. has a few scratches from being dropped on concrete many times, but it still works as it did on day one. i was afraid of the click to open not working after a while, but it still works great. overall, 6131 is one of the best phones i have had.

Hi. I've had this phone for about 2 years and had very few problems with it until the other day when i tried to turn it on. When it came to the enter pin screen none of the keypad buttons worked. I turned it off for a few hours and now all the keys work but the centre button. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

i am eagerly awaiting the successor to this phone as i hope nokia continues with this line of phone

There are no "3G sim cards" at all. We have 63KB or 128 KB (USIM) mostly used to increase simcard memory or increase contacts directory size. Im using this phone with a USIM card and i have no problem with this. Look for the vendor name of your simcard (gemalto, aaxalto, etc.) and gather the product specification for 6131. Maybe there´s a chance that 6131 has trouble with your simcard vendor.

Been carrying this phone for slightly more than 2years. It has been wonderful until i change to 3G sim card lately to enjoy a promotional offer. by right, a 2G phone can read 3G sim card, but each time after i sms, i will have to restart the phone as it will show either sim card rejected or phone restriction.

Really really this phone is amazi'n,
i have it about 3 yrs till now after a long time of shocks and falling, plz if anyone want to buy it, i can tell him with pride that this phone is a chance,
a very very loud voice and easy to use, fast at switching off and on, um really happy that i have bought this phone,
