I agree. For a basic fone, it's outstanding. Has a cool in-call recording feature too. Very handy feature most of the older style fones never have.

i have this phone for almost 4 years and it still works perfect. i dropped it accidentally in water and after an unsteady period it still funktions. awesome mobile. the battery is super! only the color of the cover has fraied out but after 4 years it's ok!

Hi to all..
I've been using this phone for 3 yrs now. Its a good phone
PROS
- I love the keypad esp those who are heavy texter.
- the button to open the clamshell still functions good.
- very user friendly.
- very elegant and chic
CONS
- the rubber on the case peels off easily and has scratches on the secondary screen area.
- Its receiver is not functioning already so you won't be able to hear the other side when you take the call. (maybe because of the fall it suffers)
- the camera is not good at night or any place thats dark. you won't be able to take clear picture. but its good on daylight.
I guess that's it. My Nokia 6131 needs to retire coz its been over use. LOL..

I've been using my Nokia 6131 for 3 yrs and 6 months already. The problem I had with it is that it has scratches all over. The camera is not that good. Im planning to buy a new one,the N86 . 3 yrs of using it is enough to replace it.

I wish to move the messages from "Saved messages" from Nokia 6131 to a new phone (LG) but I can't find them on the SIM card nor on the microSD card. Are these messages in phone memory? How can I move them to LG and be able to see/read them?

i have 3 years old nokia 6131 now in my phone Bluetooth is not work.it cantswitch ON. if i change the software the problem will slove or NOT? PLZ REPLY

I have a big problem with accidental dialing using this phone. When in pocket voice recognition key is sometimes pressed and it 'recognizes' some random person from contacts list and dials them.
There is no way to disable voice recognition for contact list or change the key that activates it.
Only solution I've come up with is locking keypad but thats kind of dumb considering its a 'clamshell' phone.
Any insight would be appriciated.
