The "wifi" on these phones is only for UMA, which is basically a way using Wifi to connect mobile phone calls. Mobile phone operators stopped using UMA some time back, rending the Wifi on this handset pointless.

had my nokia 6136 for 3 years now .Love it my kids keep telling me to get a new one but i love my 6136 pink mobile .

I had this phone. Accidentally put it in a small puddle of water, and the battery shortened or something similar and it didn't work well after that. Started to work well after I had dried the battery, but eventually totally lost its images.
