Can anyone help. My wife dropped my beloved Nokia 6210 into the washing up water. I've dried it thoroughly and now, although it works, the profile is stuck on HEADSET, even though none attached. in profile section, no option to ACTIVATE another profile, just personalise and rename. Phone thinks headset is attached. Any answers!!!

I've used 6210 for 3 years with no problems at all. very happy with it, but have to change it now to cope with new technology.

Yes, take it to a Nokia service point, they charge £30 in uk for a new oroginal cover inlcuding keypad. There is silver, Black, Red and "Grey/beige". This is a great phone, great build, battery and signal power.Its old technology but reliable now. If you dont want MMS and all the crap they throw in these days this one still does an excellent job. Great for sms its one of the best keypads

I have been nursing a problem with this nokia 6210 for some time now. I will appreciate if you can give me a solution to the problem. It goes thus; On the profile section there was a word HEADSET standing on the screen. and hence I cannot make or receive any call, because I will not hear the one I am calling and the one will not hear also and my time charge end-up wasted.
I will be waiting for a special solution on this matter. Thanks.

Even bought as "second-hand" it is a good phone. Some version of software have small problems but can be fixed upgrading the software.
It's a phome that make's you to look smart.

i found mine cycling home one rainy evening,all wet and covered in mud,took it home,cleaned it,dried it,charged it and it has been working beautifully ever since(one and a half years)and im finding it hard to retire it,nokia quality,no nonsense phone.

afther hard use during this 19 months, i'll like to say: yes, the phone is GOOD and yes, i'll buy again something from 6xxx series. my 6210 is still working fine, but you know, for time's sake i'll change it. retirement.

For sure one of the best phones on the world
A true proffessional mobile thats why it does not have crap features or lots of useless games etc. Great Infrared option, 500 memories with up to 5 numbers each plus text plus many more.
