> In reply to Jessy @ 2008-06-03 15:41 from N90Xyou can stop the charges from using the gps by turning off a setting in the navigation options, it's in extras and you turn off the bit that lets the navigator use your network. runs a little bit slower but should stop all extra charges

Nothing is for free. Turn by Turn Navigation is free on the 6110 as it will be on the 6210. Map are updates are not free however, the mapping is done by Route 66. Nothing is for free guys, EVERY GPS unit has some sort of charge incurred for ongoing use. Wether that be charging for turn by turn navigation or charging for map updates. You think these companies put thousands of hours into mapping software for nothing?

haha, chargin forGPS!!! all you nokia users will soon see that SE/Samsung have the better phones, and EASIER TO USE, apart form the symbian Samsungs!!.

Nokia bought the GPS company, so they mus be loosing a mint, so like everything else, they will start to over-charging Nokia users, and as blind as they are, nokia users will just pu up with it.

WAKE UP and smell the **** nokia spin!! They were good, now they have been over taken.

Same phones, boring design, and their sliders are the WORST in the market. No room for the 123 buttons, too close tothe slide, and their slides always break. That what I see coming through my phone store anyway

Nokia has totally lost the plot with the 6210. Why have they decided to start charging for GPS usage as it was free on the 6110? Also a dedicated sat-nav box is free to use so why on earth charge users to use the GPS?? I was going to get the 6210 when it came out. Not anymore! Now they have forced me to look elsewhere now. Not a very wise move by Nokia!

The Nokia Europe site says that it comes with 6 month navigation licence. In that case, unlike the 6110 which is completely free, what's the point in buying this phone if you then have to pay for navigation after 6 months? Might as well buy another Symbian phone with better features and buy navigation if you really need it.

Why wi fi is not included in the features I don't know. I feel that nokia has released all models with one or other shortcomings so that no one is satisfied with one phone model

But isn't 3Q starts from July onwards? Good to have wlan. Using HSDPA for web surfing consume higher energy.

Release date should be at the end of the May 2008.
But... It has BIG flaw -- no WLAN. Why they would leave out WLAN? Makes no sense.
