Great phone, however I find the black a bit sombre and would like other colour options (are there any more?), Does anyone know where I can get a Monopoly for this phone (free shareware preferably, but will pay if necessary.)

I did hear about the GPS voice navigation feature's expiry in 6 months and there's a requirement to pay every 6 months in order for it to work. However, just to enquire whether anyone here can confirm this information that I obtained somewhere that the MapKing software can be installed for use in Symbian phones without any charges at all - permanent navigation use with voice without charge. I know MapKing use in Windows Mobile phones are totally permanently free indefintely as I'm using it now so I wonder why Nokia's charging its users.

So if anyone here could help to confirm that MapKing can be used in Nokia phones that support GPS, then it's good news for all users here. Would appreciate if anyone here who knows the answer to this for help. Many thanks.

> In reply to Hayden @ 2008-10-20 01:29 from tVed - click to readThe 6210 nav and 6110 nav are very very much alike in their features. The only really noticeable diffrences are as follows.
1. the 6210 runs off all the same frequencies but also runs off the 900 hsdpa
2. the main display of the 6210 is .2 of an inch larger! wow!
3. the 6210 has 120 mb compared to 6110 which has 40 mb internal
4. 6210 has Symbian OS 9.3, Series 60 UI compared to 6110's Symbian OS v9.2, S60 rel. 3.1
5. the 6210 includes Accelerometer rotation and a Digital compass which the 6110 did'nt
6. the major diffrence is obviously the camera. 6210 has 3.15 and 6110 has 2 mp.
7. 6210 has also gained 10 min's more talktime

Those points and obviously the cosmetic diffrences as the 6210 is alot more slimline then its pre-deccessor

But if you wish to continue the voice guidence discontinues after the first 6 months you can then purchase nokia map's from any telecommunications dealer for $99-$129 ($aus) which is valid for 12 months further useage.

Hey guy's,
Iam a telecommunications dealer in aus.
To answer a few questions the 6 months free navigation continues after the inital 6 month free period, you just lose out on the voice guidence (spoken street names, ect ) feature. But you still maintain the actual mapping feature for unlimited viewing, except data charges, which are with your net work provider.
In answer to someone's question in reference to the music quality, i have seen and used near on every nokia over the last 7 years and the speaker quality and loudness is spot on, the only problem is sometimes when switching from key pad use to handsfree or loud speaker you get an initial crackle.

Hi all. Sound quality is great. Using music for noisy areas, well depands how noisy and busy the area is, but you could always use the head phones. GPS is slow without the internet and can't seem to find the address i'm looking for, but using the GPS online pin point my position quicker and more accuratley and to search for address. Apart from that, its a pretty snazy little thing. Display is good. If you are with Three you can use all the functions of planet 3 except for Sky racing you can't watch the race, but you can still view the scratching and all that.

Hi
I think 6210 navigator is a fine telephone but i miss a few things.

I would like the profile to change bluetooth and divert calles.
The application today only changes diffrent sounds for different profiles.
Is there such program?
I have tried ACM and such like programs but i think they dont do both things, BT and divert.

HI, Ive had the Nokia 6210 for a month now and theres no problems with it so far.

The GPS is hard to use in my opinion, as I am often unable to get it to point out my precise location. Instead, it keeps saying that GPS does not work in enclosed areas.

Other than that, its a pretty decent phone. recommended.
