guys i have nokia 6110 it is free gps "you can start even without sim card" if you have route 66 and some country maps witch come with route 66 for free.
you pay if you want to add new country to route 66 or if you are using nokia maps or google maps witch required internet connection
Can we transfer progran route 66 and those free maps to nokia 6210?
Stiggy, 12 Jun 2008dude, you barely know anything about this phone yourself. Nokia maps has free updates, this ha... moreNo, it doesnt have route66. Only the original (6110) did. This one has nokia maps, with free subscription for 6 months.
no 6210 is not xenon flash. its is dual led flash which make image picuter quality wast like 5610
Anonymous, 07 Jun 2008map updates are free of the nokia sitedude, you barely know anything about this phone yourself. Nokia maps has free updates, this has route 66. you have to buy the maps for this software. the turn by turn navigation is free though.
ian, 07 Jun 2008i have the 6110... its not free6110 is free goto navi settings and change to never use network
Jessy, 05 Jun 2008GPS is only free for about a month then you have to purchase it.you can stop the charges from using the gps by turning off a setting in the navigation options, it's in extras and you turn off the bit that lets the navigator use your network. runs a little bit slower but should stop all extra charges
Nothing is for free. Turn by Turn Navigation is free on the 6110 as it will be on the 6210. Map are updates are not free however, the mapping is done by Route 66. Nothing is for free guys, EVERY GPS unit has some sort of charge incurred for ongoing use. Wether that be charging for turn by turn navigation or charging for map updates. You think these companies put thousands of hours into mapping software for nothing?
