Well about your question. Hmmm... Not exactly me. But I do believe though that this phone deserves to be liked because of its great features. Actually it's my brother that plans to buy this phone. And the reason is, I don't really feel the necessity of owning a super 5 megapixel cameraphone. I just couldn't picture out of how my friends and classmates would grab my phone for taking pictures just to see their funny faces and bulging eyes. Lol. So a super duper cameraphone and its imaging capabilities aren't exactly my cup of tea.. So more than likely, I would rather choose Nokia 5320 Xpress Music because I am really not into imaging and photographs. I prefer music more than imaging.
Btw.. Nokia N78 is already available here in Cebu. I mean the one with a NTC Type Approval and the official 12 month Nokia Care Warranty and it's price is PhP 20,100. Now the launch price of N78 made me think that 6220c will be much cheaper than 20k. Because as Nokia have announced, the N78 will be shipped for 350 Euros before taxes and subsidies while the 6220c will be shipped for only 325 Euros before taxes and subsidies. That will be much of a juicier offer then if that will be the case!!

yes I have become obsessed with it. The Nokia here in Thailand has the dummy 6220 on the shelf so I can hold it and examine the look and dimensions, then the sign says coming soon so I told that staff I will be there everyday

converting it from the forecast price in Thailand of 14200 baht that would be 19000 pesos though I have noticed Nokia phones in the Philippines are usually priced a little higher than in Thailand (probably because higher tax in RP)

No news yet. I've been visiting some Nokia stores around the metro and the guys there told me that the release of the 6220 classic is still indefinite. Dude, if this fone gets good comments from users here in Manila I'll sure set my eyes on it like what I did to my legendary 6233.

At first when this phone was officially announced, i thought to myself that this would kill the N Series. But as i have observed later on, Nokia only puts more and almost complete feature sets and luxuries to its N Series.
Xpress Music phones got 3.5mm jack but no single Xpress Music phone til date that offers TV-OUT and also no Xpress Music phone that provides Wi-Fi, observed? ( Well ofcourse! We should consider that Xpress Music are currently aimed at the young and of course at the midrange market so better not expect more from the Xpress Music line). But how about this "classic" series??
Well, if i'm not mistaken, all "classic" attributed Nokia's only have 2.5 mm AV connector. But why? It would have been nice if the 6220c got 3.5 mm audio jack. Now i got a speculation that this trend will continue allthroughout the "classic"series specially knowing that the highly rumored Nokia 7310 which got a 3.5 mm jack which supposedly would get the "classic" attribute was eventually changed to "Supernova". So it made me think that the "classic" attributed phones are intentionally left without the 3.5 mm jack so that it cannot be directly compared to the N Series. But this phone is yet to be announced so let's just wait if its model attribute was changed to "Supernova" instead of "classic"..
Maybe Nokia only puts everything on their N Series? But that's just my observation! Lol. Don't get irritated. Thanks for reading.

This fone is a worthy successor to my 6233 - I hope.
It will depend on the comments once it's released in the Philippines.

> In reply to whY? @ 2008-06-08 00:29 from ibaUSome high-end N Series phones have some added bells and whistles like accelerometer, motion sensor, N-Gage gaming, Wi-Fi and more.. So if you don't need those, then 6220c is a great buy.

> In reply to Dani @ 2008-06-09 19:27 from mqjyHey bro, I've got to inform you that this Nokia 6220 Classic will come with the regular Nokia HS-47 Headset. Btw, are you satisfied with the sound quality of the HS-47? I mean... you are currently using a 6300 right?
