Here are my comments after a few days usage:
Pros: Very light, small, packed full of features, 5mx camera with great flash, can upload images onto web very easily from the phone itself, nice screen, 1GB micro-SD card as standard (can upgrade up to 8GB), nice design.
Cons: Keypad is starting to annoy me and I don't look forward to writing text messages, MyOwn Key function (after setting my own personal option) does not work all the time where it sometimes goes into Maps (very annoying), battery life is not very impressive at all.
I prefer this one to the N82 as I don't like the keypad at all on the N82, and the N82 is heavier/costlier.
If it wasn't for the 5mx camera, I would not have chosen this phone at all. I sometimes feel to go back to my old phone. Maybe I am fussy.
Motorola have stuffed it. They have nothing available with a 3.2mx camera or better. Such a shame, as I prefer Motorola.

About availability: At the moment in Finland, only one shop has them is stock, others state 11.7. or later.
And at least in Finland it's not tied to any certain operator. But then again, some countries have a different culture for that. But in here it's common to buy phone and service separately. I don't know if there is even one phone on the market that is service provider exclusive.
About the keypad (hard/soft): I think it would be "hard".
About VGA at 30fps: I've heard some talking about multimedia optimizations in the FP2... Maybe this was enough to make it possible?
About color: at the time I ordered mine, it was only available in BLACK. Purple (plum) coming later.
About battery: it's not a very long lasting battery. Especially if you use a lot of flash and GPS.
I noticed it's a good idea to disable geotagging while indoors, because after every taken photo it will try to find the satellites, but never actually find them. Well, not really important feature to me, so I disabled it and probably will keep it off (even if outdoors).
These few first days have been quite a bit of dabbling and trying out different features, so now that things start to settle down, we'll see how long it lasts in "average use".
BTW, it might have problems showing the "real" capacity. Just few minutes after I checked that it had at least half battery left, it went dead on me. Remains to be seen whether it was onetime flaw or some bigger issue...
About heat: Once during a longer call (40 mins) it warmed up a little bit, not hot though.
CONS:
Like I said before, the lens cover is crap. It's even worse than the one in N95 (non-8Gb). I hope they'd make a new version of this with better cover.
Another thing: I don't know how it's with other GPS-phones (and/or manufacturers), but don't expect the GPS in this phone to be the same as in typical car navigators. If you want proper navigation, you'll have to pay extra for it (7-day, 1-month or 1-year licence fees).
In my opinion: totally crap idea (for example one year costs about 60€, 1 week about 6€).
PS. Yes, I knew this BEFORE I ordered it. But the limitations were even worse than I feared. So don't get your hopes up for free navigation.

So the batteries life span is not that long. Does anyone have any issues with the phone running out of power to often? Thats really my only concern with this phone otherwise its seriously a really nice phone. Also when you use the flash does it drain the batteries power a lot?

> In reply to Srinav @ 2008-06-30 04:42 from M@T2You are the one who's got it wrong. Many times in many websites was it mentioned that it's the TIOMAP 2430 processor that enables N93, N93i, N95, N95 8GB, N82, E90 to record videos in VGA at 30fps. I'm just wondering how come can 6220c record in such frame rate but N78 can't! Maybe you don't know the answer either so better keep silent!

Shut up!! The 6220c CAN actually record in VGA at 30 frames per second. You are all saying wrong! The processor and the RAM have nothing to do with the video recording capabilities my God! All of those abovementioned prospects have nothing to do with the video recording. So whether a Freescale ARM11 369 MHz single chip processor or a TI OMAP 332 MHz dual core processor, both of these things cannot be related with the phone's recording capabilities as it is clearly based on the internal hardware support/microelectronics of the phone that happens to be DEFINITELY NOT the processor! God! Give me a break!
