I am too in Bangkok and still no phone available even being in every retailer catalogue for 2 months now. I guess they had to recall the first batch because of the keyboard problem or whatever. With this problem solved and the new software version everything should be alright now. But as usual the early buyers are not so happy.

Didnt finish my statement. For s40 phones like 6300, the themes in the memory card are separated from the theme folder.

If you put the themes in the memory card, they would automatically go into the themes folder. This happens for all s60 phones like n95, 5700, 6120, (for s40 the them like 6300, 5310, 3500).
If you want to delete themes from the 6220classic, go to menu>settings>data manager>application manager. You will find a list of all your applications including your themes.
Yes, the 6220c has loud ringtones, a good loudspeaker and fullscreen id.
For all those with keypad/build quality issues, according to mobilereview.com, nokia has resolved this. It is now on par with the 6210navigator in terms of durability.

> In reply to julie @ 2008-08-13 13:00 from nF1C - click to readThere is no option to delete the preinstalled themes, but you can delete themes through the application manager in nokia suite. It has animated screen savers that use flash lite 3.0, and there are effects that come with themes which you can turn off and on. The ringing tones are fairly loud but not as noticable as the older phones. I'm not sure what you mean about the caller ID but it seems like it takes up the whole screen, changes the background. Hope this helps.

I am pretty sure this quality problem reported by many people is the reason why the release of the phone has been delayed in many countries...

Looks like the first batch had quality problems about the keyboard and the lens cover. Hopefully the new ones will be OK
Regarding the sound when taking pictures, is it true it cannot be disabled ?

Mini review
(Firmware 3.23):
Used it for 3 weeks. A great phone indeed.
MP3 / Radio Quality: 9/10
Need to use external earphones with 2.5mm converter to get good quality sound) Use the Jazz equalizer for best effect.
Loudspeakr: 7/10
A mono loudspeaker, its quite loud but not that clear compared to Nokia 6233.
Camera Quality: 10/10
Best camera phone I have ever used. Photos turned out excellent when viewed on PC. Xenon flash is very good for nearby objects in night condition.
Video Quality: 9/10
Ability to record VGA videos in 30fps. Videos turn out excellent but a little bit shaky even with stabilization turned on.
Call Quality: 10/10
No problems encountered here
GPS Quality: 6/10
Occassionally, even with full GPS signal received, your position can't be tracked on the map and Nokia Maps has to be restarted. Took 5-10 minutes for GPS lock (without A-GPS). 6110 navigator's route66 is much better as it has free turn-by-turn voice navigation
Battery Life: 7/10
Lasted 2 days with music player, gps and calls. Not bad for 900mAh battery. I heard that S60 3rd edition FP2 has internal optimizations that consumes less battery.
Stability: 9/10
It crashes once while taking a picture in landscape mode and another time while updating to firmware 3.23. But overall, stability is a no issue in this phone.
Responsiveness: 8/10
Opening and using applications can be quite laggy at times. But is a no big issue.
Overall: 9/10
That's all.
