I have had this phone for 4 days now and the speaker & ring volume is louder than the Nokia 6500 slide. The battery is below average, i am a moderate user who is struggling to get a full day. Also I am unable to find "make a note" in the calendar menu, it appears nokia may have romoved it. I have to use the meeting in the calendar menu. Overall i have to say it is the tidiest/lightest phones I have used for a while. Speker clarity is excellent.

Still don't have it because still not available. But i saw dummy phones everywhere, and in reality the looks is very nice, even in purple. Of course it is plastic, but the feeling is Ok. Small, light, cheap and full of features. Difficult to find something bad about this phone, except for the small screen. But bigger screen would mean bigger size, weight, battery...Definitely my next phone.
Find any bugs in the phone at the moment ?

i thought this phone was slow so had some doubts but went to settings themes general then options then theme effects then off this phone is so fast now no lags so more than happy with this phone , and as for n phones n 78 n95 those phones are ok but way to big they dont fit in your pocket so to me they are not a mobile phone they are a brick as for my best phone it was 6230i wish nokia made a phone like that with 6220 classic specks on it would be more than happy then .

> In reply to viperkid @ 2008-07-19 03:12 from wu4VYes, my Aunt is very generous! =) Well about the speakers of the N82, its speakers produce loud ringtones and unleash nice stereo sound but it should be noted that they don't really produce heavy bass elements but still, it is loud and clear in my opinion.

The housing is fine! Its so much better than the n73s housing.. and the N95s slider is too loose and flimsy. this phone is fine for drops cause it is so light, mostly because of the plastic housing.. which is sturdy! I find it almost to sturdy as the keys are a harder to push than other phones. It's small and has everything available except wifi and its a decent price. I think its the best thing out there for smart phones right now.

the day i bought 6220c i kinda regretted it, i find the Gallery and Camera UI is not as sophisticated as the NSeries.

However, I really like FP2 with full screen Caller ID. And the camera takes really good photo, although the Xenon Flash doesnt seem to help much for flash photography, maybe it is wrong setting.

I also hate the phone cheap plastic housing and the back battery cover doesnt seem to fit nicely, lastly, the design of this phone is FUGLY !!!

However, after using this phone for the last 2 weeks, I becoming to like it more and more. It NEVER hang on me nor did it give me any problems. The firmware is stable and fast, especially loading of my 200+ music tracks and hundreds of photos.

I have chucked aside newer phones like E66 (good for texting), G810 (good design but horrible camera despite 5mp), N78 (horrible keypad and only 3.2mp) and Omnia (Overall horrible to use), in favor of 6220 Classic. See my blog http://plwh888.livejournal.com that I really do own the mentioned phones.

The FP2 in N78 and 6220 Classic kinda give me an advance taste of the upcoming N96 which I'm totally excited over it.

I Heart my 6220 Classic now =) at least until N96 is available . . .

To VIPERKID:

I already have a new phone. Guess what, it isn't a 6220c, it isn't a 5320XM either.. It's a Nokia N82! I got the black N82 yesterday because my aunt bought it without my knowledge. Hehehe.. My aunt was a huge witness of the "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" problem of my previous phone as she used my phone for a while. Now I have my money (which I planned to use for buying 6220c) left unused. Hmmmm... Maybe I'll just use it to buy a nice pair of Sennheiser earphones. As of now, the N82's dimensions is not that bulky as I expected. The keypad is not that horrible either.
