it was my first phone with camera. i used it before changing to nokia 6300. very strong, portable and easy to use. this is the best classical phone of nokia

This was my first Nokia phone, I bought it in 2005. It was the beginning of an era where I would look no further than Nokia. The 6230 was such a delightful experience I got 5 more Nokia devices in a row for the next 6 years. Those were good times...
PS: There's actually a 6230i which was just retired at my workplace... It still works! Lets see if I can get it for free

This was my 1st colored fone. Very durable. Can Play music, videos. w/ descent camera and also can access internet. And I still remember the moments spend w/ this phone. Two thumbsup Nokia 6230

Nice phone, bought it after my 7210 collapsed.
8 years later changed it to SGS3.

im usin this phone at 2006.. its my first phone i ever use.. a nice camera,nice speaker, also its compact.. good phone.. all my memory was there.. thx nokia!

I'm still using my nokia 6230 to date since 2003. This is the best mobile phone I ever had (very user friendly and very easy to create text messages). Just like what emman d said, hoping that nokia will release a new phone with the same physical body but with updated features i.e, wifi and near field technology (NFC).

Mine was given to me by my brother-in-law and enjoyed it for almost 5 years. the best phone i've ever had. i wish nokia would re-issue or release one with the modern day features.

What a great piece of little phone! For sure the one that I used the longest time. I bought soon after release, it was like jumping ten years into the future. I remember, many years later, a friend in my office showing off its new iPhone -I can surf the web, read emails, lookup maps, take photos and watch movies! -Yeah, I do it all everyday on my 5 years old Nokia... When I proved to the unbeliving office I was tellign the truth, his jaw literally dropped to ground!
