thk finnished ... i like the big screen of 6600 that y .... but 6230 has pack with Many feature which attract me ... coz i seen many review regarding 6600 that it may be a prototype as there are amyn problem with it like the dead pixels ..etc

6230 is smaller and has FM radio and mp3 ringtones. 100 dollars/euros cheaper than 6600
6600 has better display and better os (series 60).
I would go for 6230.

Hi everyone ... been very puzzle whether is 6600 better or 6230 .. i really need some opinion for u guy so i can make the finally decision.. if not i will go stright of 6600 or e 700 plz some one tell me which better

Nokia 6230 coming to stores in a couple of weeks according to my visits in local stores which had received a letter about it from Nokia. That's the case in Finland. Price varies from 400 euros (internet shops) to 520 euros (official price).
Too bad the VGA camera quality isn't that good. Checked sites with camera pics from ALL manufacturers and they all suck more or less. Mostly more... Only MCA-25 pictures was good enough but that's an attached camera so it doesn't really make a big difference from carrying a real small camera with you.
With megapixel camera quality 6230 would be a perfect phone but we'll just have to wait for a better cameras.

MP3 Ringtones: You can set a song (in MP3 format) to be your ringtone... That is, whenever someone calls you, the song you chose will be ringing.
MP3 Player, found in 6230: You get to store music in your phone and play it back whenever you want. Just as a normal, commercial MP3 Player.

please tell me what r mp3 ring tones as in motorola they said they offer mp3 ring tones like in v500 v525 etc
i wana know the difference b/w mp3 player and mp3 rin tones

Have been goin' thro' all the latest h/p n found that Nokia 6230 is the best. The 7200 model also fantastic esp cos of its small size. SE T630/Z600 are not so bad xcept lacking FM stereo, video capture, hv smaller memory(2mb). Motorola/Samsung models have good scr resolution n design but quite xpensive n some of the its latest doen't include FM stereo xcept for the V690 I think..All in all, Nokia 6230 is the best without comparing it with latest PDA models of course...

As much as I would like to see phones like T650 with megapixel camera in my hand, I cannot see them coming to shops before next year. It usually takes at least six months from the publishment before any consumer gets their hands on new stuff. There is no announcement date for T650, and T610 as well as T630 were just published. By that time Nokia and others have similar models out already.
T630 lacks many features that 6230 has and I value: FM radio, MMC slot and MP3 player, mp3s as ringing tones, EDGE, etc. T630 looks good, that I have to admit - but I am not dating my phone so I'll focus on features. ;) 6230 has a classic look so no problem with that either.
Please correct me if I have wrong info. I cannot argue about taste matters, but Nokia has clearly the best site and they cover pretty much everything related to their phones. Cannot say the same about SE. :(

Sorry if that is the impression is giving... I was just saying it's unrealiable a person that writes uncoherent sentences. Besides, I was wrong. The best phone to come, as far as specs go, is the so rumoured T650. It's great I love that rumoured design ( Everyone's got a video) and the specs are pretty great. If they get to announce the phone at CeBIT, as also "rumoured", it will beat the Nokia 6230... The Sony Ericsson T650 seems to be a remarkable phone.. So does the 6230.. Please don't mark me as a diehard... I'm not... Is that I own a Nokia, and can't stand people saying that their phones suck when, I don't know, probably their phones are damaged or something, when my own Nokia have never dropped a call. Sorry, I didn't want to give that impression. I appologize to the Unknown below me and others that received that impression.

P.S.: BTW, check the comments on T630. I did fight a little at first, but then.. you'll see.

espinosa is a sourgrape. HAHA! I would have bought one of these already if not for his snide remarks and overbearing comments. Why do you have to defend this nokia too much? You don't OWN the company, do you? Or are you trying to mask all those glitches their phones have? All you guys out there, you might want to settle for another brand. You'd regret spending so much money for a phone which delivers no more than their competitors. SE or Samsung, or Motorola are good. Mitsubishi relased a good one, and Panasonic and Philips have cheaper but very good quality phones. Oh, and one more thing, CHEAcomm is copying Nokia designs. It would be quite embarassing if people mistakes your priced Nokia for a cheap copycat.

The 'Nokia Dealer' is lying... I'm sure that to work for Nokia or to be a salesman, you surely need to know how to write, spell and use coherent sentences... The Nokia 6230 is the best phone to come.

It is been completed with bleuthoot and Mp3 by Nokia. I have Nokia 6100 but no Radio no bleuthoot and no Mp3so i think this will be a future.

Looks like a great phone, has all the features that I need. I wish that the display was bigger. I was considering SX1 as well but it's a bit too big and pricey. It doesn't come with MMC card either as Nokia. For the same price as SX1 you will get 6230 and buy a 256 mb MMC card.
Nokia dealer, learn to use spelling check, please... ;)
