hi! maybe the keymat or keypad membrane has a corrusion, thats why you experienced the uncontrolable scroll down function.

i had my 6230 for over 4 years now and had no problems until i dropped it. the screen was damaged and had to be replaced at a cost of $130. but i loved my phone so the price was not an option. i think it is the best phone i've had and would recommend it to anyone. The only thing i would suggest is a better design. its a bit plain. and a screen that is better protected from damage, cause lets be real, a phone will accidentally drop sometime or another and it did, and the same thing happened a year later.
