I had the most fun with this phone even though I'm now using an E51 with more high tech features.
The E51 is fast but I still believe the Nokia 6230 is the fastest Nokia ever.

It is a good phone but I have got problem with it. It has got problem on reducing voice.
I have tried without success. Its button alocated aside is functionless.

This is best ever phone I am using last 4 years and I have no problem. This is very compact and very easy to use all the features. Phone has got all the features I required. I have dropped accidently 3-4 times my phone but still working perfect. What else i can expect from this phone. I would like to say...Nokia is great to make this kind of phones.

Store your music files in the root directory of your memory card and not in folder. You should be able to play the files from your music player now.

I bought a nokia 6230 and must confess its a great phone.The only problem is that i put a 1GB mmc card but when i put items more than 512 mb other items entering shows question mark.Is it from the card or the phone and also if i try browsing the net with the music player on,the song being played either fastforwards itself and cracks.Please what should i do

This phone is the toughest i have ever had, I bought it in Dec 2004.And had till today.It survived lots of crashes,downfalls,falls in water,rain, bee dismantled numerous times and ended only with lots of scratches.And still works almost like before!The global market needs more phones like this guy:)!

I bought this phone on Dec. 2005, sold it on 2008. This has been the toughest phone I ever had, I dropped it more than 100 times and that little phone was still alive. When I sold it still had its original case with very few scratches, its keypad was still full painted and every one of its features was still working seamlessly. I still have a Nokia (5700 XM) but it isn't even half the tough this 6230 was.
And maybe the 6230 is now an outdated phone with no hi tech features like WLAN, HSDPA, big touchscreen, many MP camera, HD video or a dozen GB internal memory but it surely does its primary job flawlessly which is make and receive calls and messages and it surely trumps many new phones on those departments.
So it doesn't matter how many hi tech features I'm missing if I'm on the need to make a call or send a message bring me a 6230.

i must say this phone is my first, on Dec 7th 2009 it will make my phone 4years. It fell so many times i sore I had to purchase a new one,but its still working. Everything in it is still in perfect working condition. And the only way I'm getting ride of that phone is only if he have given up, and the way its working i dont think its soon.. Nokia 6230 rulezz

if anyone can help me plz...... i want to listen to the music in player mode... but the music player of my nokia 6230 cant browsw files from memory stick.... how can i fix this problem... or if anybody knows player compatible for nokia 6230 just tell me.. tnx :)
