I'm amazed at seeing the stuff this mobile can do. I'v got one question: How can I view and store sms's on my pc? Using bluetooth or cable? Help me please. thanks. if you can email me the reply, its better. 10x!
Hi guys, ve been using 6230 for a couple f days. Is there a way to tranfer MP3 to MMC directly & also use the music player facility
is it true tat i can't use the mp3 inside the mmc as ringtone.
to Moleman: 6230 can't support 512MB or higher mmc card.or ur phone will lack or hang all the time.
hey there alisia the key pad lights up so text can be made in the dark.......
Can somebody tell me does 6230 have light on the buttons/keyboard - so that you can write sms in the dark for example.
I couldn't find pics how this phone looks in the dark
nokia 6230 is the best than n 6600 & se k700i . i like it it's the best (radio-bluetooth-mp3-high quality sound-mmc-65000 colors- and other all things you want and it small and that's the best
As a sicere nokia user I would Prefer the makers of nokia to create a large screen on nokia 6230 and name it nokia 6230i, otherwise everything is real cool in the 6230. I would expect nokia to make a phone which i mentioned above within few months
its a great phone. i buyed it 10 days before.its simply the best! i luv it!
where can u purchase 1G or 512mg MMC cards in australia???
or do i have to buy them over EBay?
The design of this phone may not be very appealing but the functions, camera, video, Mp3, bluetooth, Infrared, etc is really very good.
Small in size and yet big on features. Best phone I find it so far.
this phone is amazin'. it has everything one can desire. i really wish to buy it but its a bit expensive in Europe, could you please tell me the least price of this phone in eu? thanks
Hi M65. I am assunimg you have your files on an mmc card rather than the phone itself. I tried playing my music by selecting music player and it seems that the music player initially only checks for music files that are stored in the phone's own memory under 'Gallery>Music Files'.
The first time I used music player I had to put a track in the Music Files folder in order to get it to open.
Now if you wish to use the player to access files on your mmc card then they have to be in the 'root' of the card. In other words you can't create a folder and then put the music in that (more on this later).
Then you need to go in to music player and go to 'options>track list>options>refresh all tracks'.
Hey presto, all the tracks on your mmc card (should) appear.
Now the point I made earlier about being unable to keep tracks in a folder on your mmc may be wrong. The phone's instruction manual (English version-page62) says that you 'can' store tracks in a folder on the mmc but that they need to be "...defined in the track list before you can listen to them". I found this very odd and it doesn't actually tell you how to "define" the tracks you may have in your mmc card's folders. I have tried doing it from the gallery, in fact I've been all around my phone's menus in fact and can't find it anywhere.
If any of this is wrong or somebody knows how to define tracks stored in a mmc card folder then please let me knoe on here.
I hope that all helps in some way.
