Wow..i like this phone so much, have been with it for almost 7 years & its still good...my only problem is where can i find a good and long lasting battery any one help.

I've been using this phone for years and love this phone too. I think this will always be my favorite phone! but, I still wish this phone can have a patch to add the wifi feature :p

I have this phone for 4 yrs now.bought it in september 2005 and not faced a single problem yet.i recently bought nokia e63 but still i am keeping my old 6230i.i love this phone as it is very durable.

I've been using this phone for Years and I'm proud me this phone even if it's not the latest model and doesn't have wifi! can anyone tell me if I just want to get this phone again plus wifi feature, which phone should I get? I'm really afraid me the day if ever it dies me cos of old age... how'll I survive?! I need a classic looking phone which can auto snooze if I'm too pig to hear the alarm!

In December my phone will be three years old. Love it mine has had a 1gb card in it since new mine is firmware version 3.88 older firm wares might not support larger mem cards...
Its camera quality is really poor though

excellent phone ive only got it recently call quality is great ive dropped it on concrete and aload of other palces and it still works perfect one of the best nokias ive ever had ..

max memory says it is 512 mb... i have a 1 gb mmc and after a while it resets when i use the music player...so i think it doesn't support more than 512 mb...i think...i'm not sure that this is the cause. :P

This is an outstanding phone! I have mine over 3 years now and not a one single problem. In a contrary, I've dropped it in a toilet once (just bought it) and he went out immediately. I opened it and dried it, and it works ever since. I've dropped it thousand times and he still endures me... You just won't find that quality in this newer phones. You drop it and display immediately cracks. So, 6230i is my favorite phone of all times. Just have to get a new battery 'cause this old lost capacity.

You can set it to vibrate only or beep or ring or ascending. You may have to change the setting there.
I'm sorry I don't have this phone with me else I would have walked you through the menu step by step.
