all the people are talking about camera and other specifications. but this is the phone that is high on technical ground. only two phones are higher than this one on technical ground and those are nokia6680 and nokia9500.first people should must read the technical specifications.nokia has many models with edge for 2 years(with 6220). but where r other companis? now other companies come with edge phones.so please must watch technical specifications for nokia phones.

The resolution and the size of the screen have nothing to do with each other. The point is the size of one pixel. It tells how sharp the screen can be etc.

Easily the best phone from Nokia! The combination of size, ergonomics, and features is awesome. They should work on pricing it lower, though.

208 x 208 pixels !!!!!, that can't be true, if its true the phone should be much bigger in size, well maybe someone is joking or wrong info, has been published.
6600 also does not have such a big screen..

Urmmm...! Where's the MP3 ringtone? This is one of the features I like best in N6230, Don't tell me N6230i has a down grade on this one.

wow !! 6230i - rumours becoming true - to offer the best phone in this series ever. good for me as i was abt to get 6230, but now can wait. any idea of exact market avail, Cost ? watz the standard MMC provided in package ?

great point of view james. I want to make an anouncement: sonyericsson k750i is here. Please compare it with 6230i and then tell me if you "can't wait to buy it". Face it 6230i is junk compared to k750i.

Well i think Nokia were afraid that if they increase the size of the screen..the phone size would automatically increase & then it would be as big as a Smartphone...So how do u improve the older 6230 without affecting he dynamics..ANY SUGGESTIONS!!!WITHOUT COMPLAINTS!!!...the big ???then how can u see a picture taken with the 1.3 Megapixel Camera when the screen is so damn small, the only possible way would be when u look closer..So what happens when u look closer, u start seein the pixels, which appear like dots...So I think that is the reason why the resolution has been increased to 208 x 208...so that u would not see the pixels even u look closer & the whole thing appears clear...WELL I THINK IT IS A VERY GOOD IDEA...

why have a megapixel camera in this phone when the screen is so small.and it is weird why it is not 262k colour.they done a good job on the features though

OMG ! why does nokia like to invest in old technologies??? like going from stereo to mono in 7610 and 7650 omg what is this..and coming out this 6230i with such a small screen.. it is a waste to put a 1.3mp camera inside as the viewers will not get satisfied with the tiny screen....:( dissapointed with nokia

Since i upgraded my phone for the 6230 back in april, ive been waiting for a new nokia.
All the other models are rubbish, the smartphones aren't my thing, so the revamped 6230 seems a great option.
All the functions of the 6230 plus a wicked 1.3 Megapixel camera.
Cant wait !!!!
